Best thing about getting fix for a fix is, that we are going to have new sets of benchmarks to look at 😀
So we can compare pre-fix results with fix results and fixed fix results. YAY!

I ain't goona touch anyhing here on my side untill this mess gets solved both on Intel/AMD and M$ side: WU is disabled or posponed and not a single rig/mobo of mine is flashed with new BIOS containing "fixed" CPU microcodes. I'm just gonna sit down and relax, for few more weeks I guess...

Sandy / Ivy is not affected by reboot bug because intel did not release fix for V2 for them which is responsible (with one exception). Our business Kabylake-U is affected. You just did not notice yet. Our business Broadwell-U managed to do quite a few funny things since patching. Occasional restart/freeze/iGPU data corruption... But we have large number of devices, so opportunity to see issues is several magnitudes greater. Secondly, inability to confirm something whot has been confirmed is really not important.
The only thing i say is that im not affected from the reboot bug..Not more, not less...

Sandy-E and Ivy-E have been patched. Only time will tell if consumer variants get updates later.

Intel's material reads: "Intel did not post a variant #2 mitigation MCU for this product." That's next to all variants of Sandy/Ivy, except one. And that one which got it has been affected by reboots as well. (Is there updated version of document?)

Intel just deleted the 8th January microcode update from it's download site...

Yeah, I notices that as well. I have an X99 Extreme 4 and that is supposed to be on the "we will patch it" list. I can't remember where I read it now but I think their goal was to get all the patches done by the end of this month.

Yep, that's it. Totally agree that this should be linked on the main page.
