Those prices are kinda too much. I hope this is just that specific shop.

I got my 2500K for 174€. If i would buy a 174€ CPU today i would end up having a i5 6400 which is actually worse. And Kaby seems to be the same This is not how this should work....

it's Euro not $ it's the normal starting price for intel high end... few month after it will drop as usual... 1st, milk early buyer, then put regular price 🙂

Slap in the face for anyone who waited for Kaby Lake. Say no to overpriced quad-cores.

Nothing to do here! Im moving to AM4 since i need +180$ for an DDR4 i5 and its under 3.00GHz base (nothing atractive) considering IPC lower priced older models works better...

Hahaha, those prices.

Greedy company isn't ! Same old Skylake with higher clocks = Kaby lake + charge 50 Euros more for it because it supports netfix 4K :3eyes: , yeahh rightt ... :wanker:. Still a quad core.

Lol @ f u intel.its funny what do u guys expect them to charge us less? Any premium product dictates market price. Funny thing is I feel the same way, it's like you love to hate them you know? Bastards!

Intel seems to be counting on Zen being a failure with prices like these.

Those are not MSRP prices.

Ive seen the prices from the old 2500k to this i5 and i think they´re charging too much extra each generation. Our salaries are the same and inflations isnt this bad tbh. Stop this please. :3eyes:

I hope AMD delivers, so Intel is forced to lower their prices eventually.

50 Euros more and you'll probably need a 200 series Union Point Chipset to even get all the new Instructions/features. Like USB 3.1 Gen 2 and H.264 10bit.

$389 for the top zen part I read on overclock.net, if true and it stands up in the benchmarks I will gladly fork it over no problem at all.

OK, for next gen is 500€ for the CPU and 1000€ for a 1080 Ti. I'll buy a PS4.

Or you wait a bit for Zen. If the $249 price for the ~3.2GHz 4c/8t part are real, then a lot of things will change. This pricing, if real, gives me the feeling that Intel wants to squeeze one last out (pun intended) 😀
