Making things up to push Haswell?! SB is easy to clock, not much need for change. Especially if heat is the limiting factor anyway, we can have a 5THz FSB but we cant use it. All they need do (for a bit of convenience) is unhook the SATA controllers and other clock sensitive components from the FSB, job done. But that wont help a cpu clock if you arent even maxing the multiplier. Perhaps this is just for LN2.

awsome news , looking forward to haswell. Bring it on. I hope they dont suffer from the cold bug plagued on the SB , for us extreme overclockers.

i wonder what the top multi will be, as the base clock ratio changing was not so good for overclocking on SB-E
