People unable to read generating rumors :wanker: Rumors based on nothing but one single forum post post in Dec 2016, and which Fudzilla has decided to necro for reasons known only to Fudzilla. Lets make something clear: Nothing has expired in March 2017! Except so called capture period. And this "capture period" is used solely to define "patents" that the Nv/Intel Agreement is dealing with: "Patents" shall mean all classes or types of patents [...] to which such entities have the right to grant licenses [...] and have a first effective filing date during the Capture Period. In other words, any patent that is filled after March 31. falls outside the scope of the Agreement. That's all that happened at March 31. Under the patent cross license agreement [...] NVIDIA has granted to Intel and Intel's qualified subsidiaries, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license [...] to all patents that are either owned or controlled by the parties at any time that have a first filing date on or before March 31, 2017. The term of the patent cross license agreement continues until the expiration of the last to expire of the licensed patents. Which effectively means that any patented technology that Intel is currently using for its built-in GPUs, it will be able to continue to use until the terms of the patents expire, which for recently granted patents, could be 20 years from now. http://investor.nvidia.com/secfiling.cfm?filingid=1193125-11-5134&cik=1045810

That's really a shame looks like Intel will always suck in mobile when it comes to anything gaming related.
