It's fine as long as these are only limited to enthusiasts - but at some point, it will become acceptable for your run of the mill parts to use obscene amounts of energy, and then it will no longer be fine.

Really my 7800X3D on air with noctua d15 doesn't go above 75*C even after long game sessions and doesn't throttle as well as doesn't add too much heat to the ambient room temperature using core temp max temp reading. Usually hovers around 50*C.
Hey looks at this article i9s are crashing gaming sessions in Unreal engine and othe engines from Fatshark etc.
