I can hear in the distance, Pat Gelsinger screaming about the use of the word "chiplet" instead of "tile". After all, Intel isn't gluing all these together - it's grout! But in all seriousness, this is really the only way forward if Intel expects to be competitive, not just to AMD but also to ARM. Several years too late, though.
