It sounded too good to be true. 2070/3060 mobile or desktop 3050 performance is still nice tho.

Release em already fix the drivers after launch like the rest of the world

I would never buy one. If Intel was a parent it would be the worst parent in the world. They give birth to something and then promptly turn around and abandon it when they realize it's to much work.

I think a mobile chip being comparable to a 3050 or 3060 is fine.

its a shame they already missed probably the best time ever in history to sell GPU's

I think its being compared to mobile 3050 and 3060, as the previous report was that it surpassed 3070 mobile, but now is being said to be less then that.

I assume they optimized for benchmarks first, then most popular current games, then less popular so on. It doesn't suprise me benchmarks are doing better.

Really out of all the played out "DOES IT RUN CRYSIS" jokes no one mentioned it to INTEL or Raja lol?

It's going to take a while for the drivers to mature...I have no doubt about that. That has yet to be seen.

Poor Volta.....

I don't get why there aren't any decent reviews of the mobile parts yet. I'm seeing ads at Best Buy now of laptops with the A350M and A370M with delivery dates of next week.

Probably because Intel isn't sampling them to reviewers. You know a product is good, when a company doesn't believe it will get decent reviews, so it doesn't even send some units for review.

Seems their GPU development policy is based first and foremost on 3DMark performance. Only then will they look at gaming performance.

All things considered, this... doesn't seem so bad actually?

It really isn't, at least not in the current market. Based on what is known, performance the 730M slots between 3050 and 3060 mobile, closer to the 3060. The 770M will be their top SKU so it's entirely possible it's in the 3070 mobile range. We also haven't seen the 550M, which is in the middle of their part stack and what I would think would compete with the 3050. I would hazard a guess these will have a steady increase in performance for some time as drivers are optimized. AMD and Nvidia parts have had many significant performance boosts over time as drivers were updated. That said, the reviews will only see what is available at the time of review, and few bother to go back and re-evaluate after a significant driver update from any GPU vendor. Intel's biggest problem is probably going to be how late they are. These would have been welcome and good competition if they had been released in say Q4 2021. As it is now, Nvidia and AMD next gen mobile parts will probably become available sometime mid to late Q1 2023 (desktop Q4 2022). The GPU product cycle is usually 2 years, so unless Intel is going to shake that up with new products in 2023 they'll probably be laggards against next gen parts.
