Where is Avago heading? What is left of LSI? They sold the flash devision to Seagate and now the networking side to Intel. Cannot remember the company, all can remember is that it was a PCIe Tech corp, they recently bought on the heels of selling LSI's flash business.

Not to forget, they sold alot of patented designs for sensors to Pixart. Pretty much all sensors from Avago in mice are now being made by Pixart.

Was Axxia even competing with Intel? I'm aware they make network cards for servers, but were they actually competitive? Their revenue for 2013 was pretty low for being a major market player, which is why I ask.

Reading other articles, Intel wanted more exposure in the mobile wireless chip market. Aquiring Axxia allowed them that.
