This is sad. And will take a toll on Barcelona's bussines environment. But whatever, health concerns are top priority.

I wonder if any of this Corona virus stuff is gonna delay the launch of NVidia's 3xxx series that is planned this year? I'm wondering if there might be production problems. I'm also wondering if it's gonna do anything to the price. Hmm, not particularly good news.

Another reason I bought my hardware when I did. Did not want another hardware scarcity hitting the world and every third party vender marking up prices exponentially in order gouge the consumer. Hope the whole of China and the rest of the world effected can get back to being healthy sooner than later.

Better safe than sorry!...

This is bullshit. There are several mobile fairs happening right now, one in Amsterdam for example. No cancellations happening. But hey, it is up to them to decide if they want to go or not. Don't just give a crappy excuse for that though.

Some companies/organizations have more concerns about their employees than others. Putting people together around the world in tight space isn't the most safe way to prevent spread of the virus.

Sorry that the completely valid reasoning apparently to you is an "excuse" when the companies would rather go and boost their products.

Can't speak for Nvidia, but Foxcon said that spread of Coranavirus isn't affecting any of their shipments. Of course this could change.

Yeah, it depends on where in the process of the manufacture chain it impacts, and I suppose products that are shipping now..their components are already manufactured a while back before Corona virus...so would Corona affect manufacture of some components and not the assembly of the finished product, etc, etc. I really don't know the specifics, just theorising, but a lot of the parts come from that part of the world right...we'll have to see, but it's comforting to know that at least it's not an issue for Foxcon at the moment.

Is it even possible for the coronavirus to spread in such a way? Most virus or bacteria need a host to survive. Is there any proof that the coronavirus can survive without a host?

I think we mean Corona virus causing issues with production/distribution of the goods due staff staying away from work, being off sick, areas being quarantined, or just plain less face to face business potentially happening in these regions which could disrupt or slow down 'plans'...I'm just using my imagination here.
