Cool deal, who doesn't like free games. It will help get more people to try or use Origin. I have a handful of Origin games but I am a Steam guy all the way.

Origin is so ass. I'm trying to get the passes for two of my accounts and it never sends me either of them. I made a new one and it wants me to confirm, never received confirmation email.

Is there any point downloading BF3 (20Gb) if I'm just looking for some free single-player action? If the campaign takes less than 15 hours to get through then I won't bother. I don't do multi-player.

I remember having the same problem, there was a load of people complaining on the forums and twitter iirc about the same thing Can't remember how I solved it now... there was a workaround

That may be argued, but end result is that it depends on preferences. While I own BF3/4 Premium both. I can say that CS1.6 is best game out there. Why? Because hours spent playing vs cost it is clear winner. 2nd FPS for me in this regards is Killing Floor. If I look on other types of games then I have Terraria as very successful project. And Path of Exile/Smite are very good too. But other people may say that they spent 1$ per 100hours of gameplay on completely different games.

I just played through it last week. 4-5 hours. very pretty but the whole thing is almost on rails. i didnt like it very much at all but the coop parts are fine with friends for a while.

I look at it like this: I spend £$ w/e on a game like BFx and play iut for 1,000-2,000 hours versus £15 for a 90-120 minute film. I know which one has more value

When these games become old they really should release Dedicated Servers for people to run if they so chose to. But I guess not because EA just want your money put into their new game... new dlc.. new premium.. new unlocks.. money money money give me more more more. They don't give a crap about the actual game or it's longevity or popularity in the long run.
