It's no wonder that there aren't any GPUs available since every company under the sun wants to build 10 different versions of every card... Please, stick to one. It's enough.

You do understand that companies do not sacrifice a bunch of GPUs to the grand GPU God just to make a new graphics card model?

to me this portends well. imho, AIB's are showing confidence in the (eventual) supply of Nvidia gpus. this isn't on our timeline, but this too shall pass. by summer we should be swimming in them and these "cute" mobo matching gpus will be as available as anything else.

From the manufacturer's pov it might be good business to make more varied models. With the limited supply, some folks might buy more expensive models than they normally would if such happen to be available.

I love all-white builds, they look truly fantastic, they will be harder to keep clean but when they are, oh boy, beautiful.

Uhm, yes. Instead there's just not enough to ensure that they can stock the models that exist. Additionally they jack up prices and make the market generally more confusing by selling 5-6 models of the same card with no discernible difference between them.

But they release different models. They do not gain anything by NOT selling cards. I mean it does not matter whether they sell two RTX 3060 Regular or one RTX 3060 Regular and one RTX 3060 UltraNice. The market still receives two RTX 3060 graphics cards.

True. And that is called marketing or in common language - bullshit. But still it has no impact on card availability.

Sure, you can get a card, but you might have only the option to buy the GAMINXXX 5 FAN DOUBLE OC MAXXX DUAL BIOS etc., at a 30% markup over the reference design, with performance that's 0-5% better at best, referencing reviews, when all you wanted was the basic model.
