Imo this is an step forward in segment separation of computer markets, more specialized hardware and software for mining or other computing tasks. i can't understand why the internal audio on this boards i would make it no audio, 1 sata, no vrm heat spreader, looking for beter pricepoint

It's not the motherboard prices going up due to mining, it's video card prices. Unless team red and team green make a specific amount of cards just for mining( software lock regular cards), this won't do us any good in people buying up GPU's for mining...

Yeah I don't get why it has audio or VRM heatsinks (and for that matter, an 8-pin EPS connector) either. Considering how motherboard manufacturers always try to find ways to cut corners (even if it's by just using cheaper capacitors) you'd think they would save the time and money engineering and manufacturing these unnecessary things. As for SATA, the chipset itself supports 4 ports, so they might as well just supply all of them.
