Very juicy but i bet this is one of the reasons why the north/south bridge needs active cooling on X570.

Games would load pretty fast, if you remove the splash screens.
I suppose it could help 4k video editing as well, with the 8TB size.

This also enforces that idea of games loading super fast, i guess Playstation 5 is using something similar since it's also AMD based like PS4, but the rumors are 500GB SSD

Why is 4k qd1 slowly... or rarely improves? Is it because it is hard to improve 4k speed? Maybe people are clueless and they think seq speed is all that matters? I am a bit confused, but I would love to see improved 4k qd1 speed.

Did someone at Aorus have that info card in their back pocket for a few days before the show?

If you want instant load times, just buy 128GB of memory and don't close games, just do alt-tab. Just like Android is doing.

again, i'm very impressed with the leg work done by AMD in prepping the field for x570/Ryzen 2.
the long lead times involved means the partners were brought on at the early ES stage, after proof of yield(s).
that is amazing to me as the (predictable) leaks didn't happen... and perhaps more than a degree of gamesmanship from AMD with (maybe) a hint of a disinformation to muddy the waters pre-release.
the ability to get the partners to go along without leaks is most impressive, perhaps because now the partners also have bragging rights...
