Gila means "crazy" or "mad" in Malay. I know it doesn't necessarily mean that but the name could be translated as Genius 12-Button Crazy Professional Gaming Mouse.

For me it makes little to no sense to pack so many buttons that aren't really usable. For example I almost don't use 6th and 7th button on my Mamba. Why? They're placed in a corner of LMB, which makes them useless in games when you need constant LMB access. However it's possible to have lots of keys that are well placed, for example Logitech G700, and Corsair M90/M95.

Never heard of "Genius". Hopefully this thing would stay together better than my Coolermaster Sentinel Storm.

This company is popular over here. They make cheap products (mostly mice and computer speakers), but some of them offer good quality-to-price ratio, eg. some 5.1 speaker sets that sound better than 2-3x more expensive Logitech.

Genius is a rather old brand of a Taiwan company called KYE Systems Corp. They make mice and other stuff since the 80s. Yeah. I am that old. 😉

It looks like a baboon's bottom. But I like it. The mouse, not the bottom.

looks a bit cheesy yes Genius stuff is a hit or miss I wouldnt buy most of it but incidentally I do have a genius keyboard luxemate 550 that is a lost gem. - only keyboard I know of with dedicated left hand gamming keys with a better layout, you will never hit "Q" or "E" accidentally instead of "W" - not mechanical but great tactile feedback - quality build, not your average "another genius crap" thing One served me good for 7 years and I thought - I´m going to clean it out key by key but then in the end not worth the hassle went out and bought another one why ? it costs about 23 euros lolol now don´t go all running out and buy one that will get the costs higher 7 years from now lolol
