The EVGA 3090 uses 450 watts as well, so no raise in TDP.

No the EVGA 3090 can use until 450w by it's extra conception but is still a 350w GPU... This one is a 450w from base. In real life the 4090 will consume more evergy than your 3090 due to this. So, now that crypto are on ground, NVidia found gaming customer interesting ???

No, official TDP for 3090 is 350.

OC'd AIB cards might be close to 600w.

Just like 3080 was twice as fast as 2080 https://www.linkpicture.com/q/NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-30-Series-Graphics-Cards_Announcement_GeForce-RTX-3090_RTX-3080_RTX-3070_13-1.png https://www.linkpicture.com/q/geforce_rtx_3080_computerbase_01.png
Not entirely comparable - 2080 is not based on the big chip, where as 3080 is... and as such the 3080 fares much better at 4k and above. My guess is that in real life performance at 4k the 4090 will be 60ish % faster than the 3090.

Should be good times 🙂

Twice as expensive, if anything.

Considering the massive increases to the electric bill, I think this is a terrible product. and deaf from nvidia with the sore in these prices (I know its a halo product but will also mean the rest of the stack could also be higher in power draw as well) want something lower in watts not higher, as this will easily do 500-550w if its anything like the 3090

That depends on which EVGA 3090 you have. Only the FTW3 cards have 3 8-pin power connectors. My EVGA RTX3090 XC3 Ultra only has two 8-pin power connectors, so that should not be drawing more than 375 Watt (if it doesn't exceed the PCI-E specs).

I'll settle for a 4070, should be a sufficient upgrade.

4090ti = 550 4090 = 450 4080 = 360 4070ti = 290 4070 = 220 4060 =150

So Ada is more efficient than Ampere? Every single rumor so far pointed it out thats not the case.

rumors are sharing clock validation results for a fully enabled chip being pushed to its highest, i never took them as being an indication of what the products based on them would use. AD104 as a fully enabled part is 290-300ish w, like the GA104 when paired with GDDR6x (the 3070ti) AD104 when paired with GDDR6, and not fully enabled is 210-220w, clocked at at a 2.4ghz target the only card that has directly linked a tgp to a sku is the 3090. AD103 is an unknown, it'll be used by the 3080 but not sure if it will be cut back or used in full and the 3080ti will end up on a cut down AD102 o_O

Every single rumor so far has contradicted some other rumor including this one. It's all just bullshit afaic. I don't care who is leaking.

With my overclocked 3090 I'm consistently around 440W, but every retail 3090 owner has to flash a bios to reach this. 3090 were hold back by their power limit imo.

what 3080 asus goes more than 400W with 121% power
