I'm impressed by efficiency of these cards , that is like +40-50% from last generation . Really good. RT performance is also top notch . Sadly the price is very high , this card should be 900$... šŸ™

Iā€™d buy it, but not at this price.

^ Fail. I wanted this gpu, but not at that price, hell no. Guess amd 7900xt it is.

Not worth the greed price tag.

at least it's faster than what early estimates put it at over the 4090

@Hilbert Hagedoorn Not sure if you have any interest but HardwareLuxx does these TDP scaling tests that are really useful for people like me that do not want an over 200-250w card. The 4080 is a dang good card limited to 250w as its only a 7% perf hit.

Good cooling, powerdraw and performance. Well done.

Is it just me or 4080 isnt that much faster than 3090ti and 6950xt? 20-25% increase is not enough to beat 7900xtx and it costs more, fail nvidia.

Yeah. 4090 is better quality of price/performance than 4080 but the future CPU Intel 14th and higher RAM DDR5 or DDR6 speed will be higher framerate on 4090 for better fair at QHD (or FHD). šŸ™‚;)

We don't have actual reviews of the 7900xtx, only hypothetical ones and the handpicked benchmarks from AMD (will normally put their cards in the best light). So the big dilemma is wait until December or buy now? For me the only card worth it is the 4090 from Nvidia.

4080 super, 4080ti, and 4080ti super incoming...

Its a 1440p RTRT GPU. When you factor in DLSS to hit 60+ FPS @ 4K (look at cyberpunk), I start to look at FSR as well and FPS per $, the 6900XT wins right now... Way over price but enough performance gap for a future 4080Ti to add another 10 FPS to 4KRTRT.

We should just wait and see how 7900xt/xtx perform and what is the street price before buying anything. Im not impressed by the 4080 tbh.

Its going to be interesting to se real world pricing of AMD cards when they hit the stores.

A lot more performance than my 3080. Looks good to me.

Yeah, it is wise...but that 4090 FE at 1600 $ looks very tempting- if I could find one....
