528€?! Holy crap, that's way to high. A 400€ would be the spot.

I'm not a miner, so I wouldn't know if it's a good or bad price. Back in the day when we had GPUs, I had some sense of prices, but now that we only have MPUs, I have no idea.

Usually, these Ventus cards are on the cheaper spectrum. So we can expect other models to be even more expensive.

So realistic price > 1000 €

Crazy price, no thanks

250-300€ Max would be the spot.

More expensive than a 2070 Super when it was released. Crazy times.

Pointless paper launch product where nVidia clearly takes advantage of the current GPU situation to sell something at twice its real value.

400€ for a reheated GPU? That´s too much! 250€ max and even that is already a stretch...

I'm sailing in PC waters since '95 and can't remember if ever happened that one GPU manufacturer is re-releasing i.e reviving production of previous gen GPU under the same previous gen name with f##king doubled prices and current GPU gen is more than a year old tech o_O On the other hand when I see retail shelves full of ancient trash GT 710, GT 730, GT 1030 DDR4 with some insane price tags... 🙄 I could understand this decision IF 2060 refresh GPU prices were in $/€200-300 price range but MSRP @ 500+ bucks (and all of us here we know more likely it'll be $/€800+ when those GPUs hit the shelves, although most of them won't get that far to reach the shelves) for previous entry level GPUs is nothing more than a scalping in worse possible way. It's like GPU manufacturers are expecting this mining crazines is going to last forever thinking something like: "... f#ck the gamers, just raise GPU prices sky high and lets sell everything to miners..." ...seems like they forgot that games/gamers were the the force that pushed them this far 😡 Dark clouds are piling above PC gaming industry and both PC gamers and game developers are going to feel negative effects long term looking and I really wish both NVidia and AMD are going to get one big fat slap in the face one day when this circus leave the town...

That's just it. At the end of the day, Nvidia is a corporation. A big business. They may come off as for the gamer, but they are not. As long as they are selling the cards and making money, they really don't care who they go to. They just don't. It's naive to think differently. Same for AMD.

@CrazY_Milojko Same here, check prices regularly waiting for them to go back to normal.. I'm honestly gobsmacked GTX 1050 Ti are being sold for $400, I only paid $279 for my current card and that is more powerful than a 1050 Ti. I'd honestly buy a 2060 if it was priced at $400, currently they are $900 where I am.

I'd rather play console than spend $900 for a 2060. That's insane.

I actually did... got a switch instead, kind of enjoying it tbh.

I preordered a PS5 and got it on launch. Then a month after Series X came out I spent part of my gpu money on that instead (found one in store for retail price). No regrets so far. Haven't even really looked for a gpu since. Seeing 3070's with 8gb going for 1,000+ retail before scalping is insane. I refuse on principle. And like you with the switch...I'm enjoying these consoles. horizon 5 with dolby vision looks amazing. And ratchet and clank for PS5 is the most visually impressive game I've played this year.
