Damn, that is one yummie card indeed. Looks like NVidia might be releasing this card sooner than I expected. Plus the driver seem to be 347.77, makes me suspect the imminent release.

I'm pretty sure March 17th is basically confirmed. Jens said they'd let people know way more info on March 17th + a few of the guys that worked on UT stuff he said they were getting free ones.

early driver maybe, performance increase vs 980 are not impressive.

Most likely these are fakes, of course, but we all love to speculate... 🤓 Here's what puzzles me from the start...
The GTX Titan X is expected to get 3072 shader processors, 192 TMUs, 96 ROPs, and a 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory bus with 12 GB of memory
Still don't get the oddish, 384-bit-wide memory bus (although cutting corners there is par for nVidia and certainly not new for the company)...I would think this would be a premium product with essentially a ridiculously high price that only an asylum inmate could love...;)...so why not swallow the extra pins and go to 512-bits wide for the on-board local ram bus...? Makes sense especially after the latest nVidia debacle of selling 4GB cards the bus can't fully address because it isn't wide enough (only 3.5GBs out of the 4GBs onboard in the 980/970's.) I assume nVidia won't want to do that again--especially not in an ultra-premium-priced product...(but these specs are probably fake, after all...!)

If it's legitimate and not capable of much higher clocks that's pretty lame.

Wouldn't 512 bit bus width call for either 4, 8, or 16GB memory amounts?

AMD 390X leak looked better. At least proper X8000 by both total and gpu score. EDIT: probably max OC ~1220mhz and X8600 ok this is better, but its OC'ed :P @ waltc3 because 512bit would eat more power and TDP is on its limits by these real high-end gpus. Same thing by GK110..

Didnt we see highly overclocked 980 reaches 6k+? Its good yes but not so impressive. We are waiting for pricing... 😀

i hope it ain't true, cause that means titan will lead till 390X will launch in June. I wonder if that real titan performance, and it the almighty full GM200, then 390X would be the real best new high end card, that could return AMD a little bit of market share. sometimes it seems that nvidia want to fail on purpose.

390x is launching sooner than June. And while I think the 390x will have better performance/$, the Titan X will probably outperform it overall. (Making this prediction based on the 390x being 28nm still)

Overclocked and volt modded on water will give better performance than that well for me anyhow. I'm thinking this card will have all the goodies regarding pcb layout.

and... what you are going to buy it?

I've waited along time for the right card to come along tbh. This is the one for me running at 1440 100hz. Price has to be no more than £1000. Anymore than that and I'm out.

390X will be the better card because it will be cheaper. 1000 bucks for a card? The world has gone insane

depends, if it overclocks well, and hopefully there will be some custom designs of the card, I really don't like reference design always had bad experience when it comes to overclocking, and ofc will depend on reviews too. But even if the 390X is better, I still wouldn't buy an ATI/AMD card, personal preference. but hopefully it will help lower the pricing of the titan x.

690 was same price in May 2012, you get a lot of card for your money.

for me tbh, i dont really have a preference for either brand or say brand loyalty. as long the card is good and the price is worth it, then i'm buying it regardless of brand. but of course like everyone else, i have my own video card pet-peeves that influences my decision making and the deal breaker such as temperature, power usage, specifications, etc. if the 290x didnt run so hot and used and/or required so much power, i wouldve gotten that card instead of the 980. for example.

Would 970SLI beat that score? That's all I'm interested in 🙂

In thoses benchmark, the TitanX ( depending the clockspeed and against what 980 ( G1 or stock ), is around 25-30% faster of a 980 G1 / stock. 3Dmark11 and 2013.. ), let say 30%.. Ofc, this will depend the final clock speed... And if we can trust thoses benchmark..
