The only difference is 5 GB of VRAM and a 320-bit bus vs. 6 GB and a 384-bit bus? So that's still a £700+ price tag then? Think I'll wait for the GTX 780 if it's all the same to you... 😉

Titan = K6000 Titan LE = K 5000 Nothing surprising, including the price .. GK110 was out in Autgust 2012 with both of them .. everyone was know after titan they will release the little sister . I bet for a 100-120$ reduction over the price of the Titan .

^ Small correction, Titan = K20X, Titan LE = K20 = K6000, 680 = K5000 I think this'll be in the $7xx range.

oups, my bad memory .. I agree on the price if the Titan is on the 950-1000 range.. a second Tesla.. 750-800 range easy .

Yes and no, peoples who cant wait to get the 700 series mostly . Let see ... Titan = 25% more performace of the 7970Ghz Titan = 30-35% more performance of the 680 Titan LE = 10-15% more performance of the 7970Gh T Titan LE = 5-10% more performance of the GTX 680 ( Computing wise it is a beast vs the 680 ) vs GTX 680, the performance start to be limited .. vs his competitor it is even worst ... What will you do with a GTX780 series ? Titan v2 ? 520mm2 chips on 28mm cost a lot to manufactures .. so push it on the series high end is a bit hard ..

I think there are enough Graphics Card for this generation already =/

Still it will be " again " an excellent card on the high end side ( are we a bit elitist ? ) .. But for the cost, yes, its a bit out of proportion ... A card who should be in the "norm" of high end price.. sadly it come there again in outer space price. I dont think it will come at 600Euros .. add 150-200 Euros ... they have divide the US dollars by the Euros price, but we know prices in Euros is not working like that.. ( 750Euros minimum ( i bet for 800 personnally or the Titan price will drop dramatically by 100 Euros ) Titan 950 to 999$ > Titan LE 150$ under .. There's no reason for Nvidia to push it under this, or they admit the price of Titan is over estimate and decrease it.

@ -Tj- Someone posted the rumoured specs of the GTX 780 and if I recall it is said to have a 384-bit bus and 6 GHz VRAM, albeit only 3 GB (which is fine for me anyway) rather than 6 GB, so has the same bandwidth as the £839 Titan. I believe it has 48 ROPs and 1,920 stream processors but it will likely cost under £400. It is rumoured to be released in August. I would expect it to offer 25%-40% performance over a GTX 680, depending on the game. If that's true that I'm not sure who the Titan LE is aimed at really. People with more money than sense? Like other NVIDIA graphics cards, I'm sure the GTX 780 will come in 3 GB and 6 GB versions too and even the latter will still likely be cheaper than the Titan LE.

yeah I started that thread 🙂 Its still a rumor though but imo its not that far off (there seems to be a error by fill rates, tflops), those specs are from techpoweup gpu-z data base GK110 LE is still faster by compute though., but I agree GK110 price doesnt make any sense, I highly doubt it deserves such premium for extra vram size.

I have no need for compute or 5 GB of VRAM so the Titan LE would be a waste of money for me. If someone gave me one for free, I wouldn't complain though!

Those will be awesome too and that means better drivers, yey!!!

Lets milk the Titan, nvidia said 😀 Just wait for GTX7xx, lol

Cant wait to see what Nvidia thinks is "cheaper" 50 ~100 $ if that? I already find GPU price on the titan to be ridiculous. But then by time I actual upgrade my card again there will be 200~300$ cards that run circles around the titan

The Titan and Titan LE are just here to fill the void while 780s and the rest of the 700 series are being made. You'll notice it's been a year and some months already since the 680 was released so they had to release something new and it has to be more powerful than a 680 to look new and better.

It pains me to watch all of the 6 series throw out so many more frames than my old card can. Most of their prices don't suit a 6 month old to year old card. I'm having a hard time waiting though.
