There already is a 780 version that beats the titan

See: Nvidia G-sync thread. That G-sync module seems to be MXM?

Hopefully its Atlas K40 replica without DP and higher clock. GK180 with full 15SMX, 3-6gb

I don't get this. Titan gets beat by factory overclocked gtx 780 already. This will beat it too. Yet they call it titan. And charge an arm and a leg for it. Doesn't make sense.

do they ever make sense to you?

Lets hope it releases at a good price point, which I suspect it might given that it's blatantly being released in answer to AMD's new offerings. Time will tell I suppose.

Not recently, no. They used to make sense. I ran many high end Nvidia cards in the past. Some of them before you even knew what a gaming pc was. I'm talking about 15 years ago. My most recent Nvidia card was the gtx 480, so as you see, I'm not a fanboy like you, who's new to pc gaming and never experienced both sides. So unless you have anything to say, other than trying to start something, go away. I'm not interested in reporting every one of your posts. If you want to reply to my posts in the future, feel free to do so, I'm up for a debate. But don't quote my posts and then just reply with flame bait. It's childish.

Can't wait to see what will happen to titan pricing. Surely they won't be able to charge £800+ for it after this is out.

Perhaps you should learn some reading comprehension before you sound like a condescending prick.

The same could be said about you. People that frequent this forum know exactly what SLI is like, thus the response.

I would hope not, but I have to say I wouldn't be shocked if they did charge over the odds for it.

Chill guys, it's just graphics cards at end of the day.

And indeed about you, and most people in that case.

This is what my bookmark of Guru3D reads like, so you can guess how long I've been reading it. Don't assume. Back on topic...

I'm really interested what will they come up with this time. We can expect slightly reduced price for 780, and for 780ti to hold 650€. As for titan they screw it up. If 780ti beats it then there no point selling it anymore. What a short lifetime for a "Titan". 😀

dude, what's with the attitude? chill. nobody is having a go at you. Next time watch your language though, just a tip. Also, what your bookmark reads is irrelevant and has nothing to do with what SLI is trying on here. You obviously don't read the forums enough to understand what he's all about. do yourself a favour and check his last few posts on this forum to get an idea of how much of a fanboy he is before you run your mouth and start calling people pricks. let's move on.

It's essentially a Tesla card, not an all out gaming card, that is why it is so expensive compared to other more video game specific cards. I'm quite looking forward to this, hopefully Nvidia have cut it down so it's very much just a gaming card, ideally as cool and quiet as possible as well. Would rather it was a 6GB card, but that might well shove the price up too much. Either way it should reduce the price of the 780.

I understand it's a tesla and everything it can do, but most buy it for games. And it'll be outdone in games by the 780ti, that's why I'm saying it'll be interesting to see the pricing. if it remains at £800+, I can't see many people buying it at all.

Well, not a Tesla, but both use GK110, but Titan have absolutely nothing aside the DP enabled you find on Tesla or Quadro ( no ECC memory, no professional computing stuff, etc etc )... And they have just disable more DP processors on the 780.. ( disabled, not removed them so you have 1/24 DP rate instead of 1/3). ( then the SMX for increase clock )
