I guess NVIDIA could announce it tomorrow on paper just because. Though it looks like GTX 1060 may be closer than many think.

It's funny how you post in dollars in one post, then start going on about euros. Cheapest 1070 on newegg is a Gigabyte AIB for $399. None of the 1070 are in stock atm, the card is selling like crazy, hence the slight premium. Still, $20 over the MSRP is not too shabby and once the market settles a little bit they will cost sub $379. About the EU pricing, yep, it's a bit crazy atm, needs a bit of time to settle. Again, I'm asking you for consistency, don't start going from $ to Eur whenever it suits you. How much do you think the 480 will cost in EU btw?

Friend of mine ordered a 1080, here in DK, estimated delivery has slipped from 1 week to 1 month from the day he ordered it 😛 I wonder if he'll have it by the end of July. He ordered a HTC Vive as well, which will likely be here way before that.

Unlikely. nVidia owners here will not go and throw rock at GTX 1060. And because they are such elitists (or at least they try to look like ones), they'll not hype it either. AMD owners may throw a bit of dump on it in retaliation for all that trash we got from people not knowing 1st thing about RX-480. But not like we have many AMD owners here anyway. As real enthusiast, I want to know how it will compare to last generation. Pascal vs Maxwell clock to clock, Block to Block comparison was not impressive till now. Due to leaked (and unconfirmed) information that RX-480 has 32ROPs, there is good chance that RX-470 will have 32ROPs, 112/128TMUs and 256bit memory controller. That means it may be 1:1 (clock to clock, block to block) compared to r9-380(x). That would be great. And maybe GTX 1060 can be compared in same way too. GTX 960 has 48ROPs, 80TMUs and 192bit memory controller.

In Portugal the cheapest 1070 costs 500€ (FE edition) and the cheapest 1080 costs 780€ because we are filthy rich... We just love to burn money... An year ago, the cheapest 970 was around 400€ and the 980 was around 650€... Talk about milking... I like Nvidia cards but their prices are becoming ridiculous and disgusting! Shame on you Nvidia!

Thats why i sad 1060 will cost atleast 300€. Looking at 1070 prices its only logical. In two months time no one will care for such a card. Hopefuly nvidia will have it ready sooner.

300€ seems very cheap considering the prices of the 1070 and 1080.

So will it be a rebranded 980 or will they have the same stock/production issues with the 1070/80
If the specs hold true it is going to be 1280 cores 80 tmus and 40 rops. If clocked to 1800 it will match 970. With 192bit bus it would be 3 or 6gb configuration. Now rumors are rumors. Don't know really.

or they could go asymmetric memory design again like the 660Ti and 550Ti and use 4GB and 8GB to not look "bad" vs the RX 480

That is way overpriced then. 390x costs less, 970 and 390 cost less and not that much more for 980. 350€ is a stupid price. It would be 100€ over the price it should have actually.

Considering that GTX 970 costs 279 € here, I don't see how it could cost much more than that.
