All new GRD from 469 branch will be DCH! Nvidia and Microsoft have decided so, I have tried them after years of Standard version. They works well. If you have got a no RTX card the last standard is the 472.12 version

[Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon] Visual artifacts may be observed during gameplay [3410593] i thought my gpu "Degraded" so it was the driver "DEGRADED"...

1. It doesn't matter RTX card you got or not. 2. The "last standard" is 472.39 as of now.

Nvidia Installer : Failed to update Reason : NVIDIA LocalSystem Container However it's updated the Nvidia driver to 496.61, so I guess it will work fine still?

this drive fix the random flickers?

@ManuelG are things still not at a point where all gpu's can be installed set to MSI by default? Windows 10 doesn't run well on the few gen 1.0 motherboards it was a problem on anyway.

Crashed twice in Warzone today! Fine on previous drivers

Sweet. Version 496.13 seemed to have fixed the issues where the two G70A take my system down, when both were on the same kind of port. Now however, with 496.49 onward, there seem to be occasional SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bugchecks in nvlddmkm.sys when the displays go to sleep.

It might be something on your end? Then again, IW8 is extremely hungry for memory on higher settings and can DEV ERROR you outta your mind. What I could suggest you doing, is changing texture and shadow settings to "Normal". Regardless, I haven't crashed once with these. So... I can count myself lucky, I guess.

Random bsod, even in old low intensive game like Oblivion. Also with 472.12 i was able to bench SOTTR in 1440p/Ultra Maxed (Ultra RTX+ Quality DLSS) with @+100/500 core/mem on my 3080 Ti and cpu@5ghz, score 136fps. With 496.xx this bench never finished, game freeze on 3-th market scene, even with no videocard and cpu overcklock. And yes, there is more input lag with 469.xx in online shooters, i play mostly Quake Champions in 720p very low settings and can confirm that. Nvidia, please fix this crap driver series allready, we can't stay with 47x.xx drivers forever.

Couple of VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys) BSoDs each with this HF driver, and the previous 496.49. Didn't see any with 496.13 however, and prior to that, haven't had any BSoDs from GPU drivers for so long I can't remember the last. One was just sitting at the desktop, the others were while running benchmarks. No GPU overclock, I use MSI AB just to cap the GPU temp at 74°C. 1080Ti. No HAGS if that matters. All clean DDU installs. Rolled back to 472.39 STUDIO, since they were preforming flawlessly anyway. Nothing in the latest branch that I "need", so think I'll stick with them and just wait for the next "Studio-worthy" release.

Dev errors aren't caused by low memory, DrDisrespect has 3090/128GB RAM and still gets dev errors.

BSOD ? Something isn't right with your machine.

i wish people would get it out of their heads that a post on a forum is sufficient information to get a bsod/performance bug logged or fixed.

I did not say that the cause of crash is low memory capacity. What I've meant is that IW8 engine eats extreme amounts of memory, regardless of how much RAM or VRAM you have. P.S. ... and I'm not talking about a specific DEV ERROR, of which there are many, mind you.
