Thanks for that had kinda forgotten about the telemetry thing + some of the other junk I read about ages back - not being an NVidia user... then But since my Fury died I just bought an Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti OC ...looking forward to being able to play games again ^^ arrives this weekend !

I own the same card. You are going to be very impressed. Mine boosts on its own at stock to 1974 on the core. I don't see any point in overclocking this card, as it is plenty fast as is.

Thanks, seems like a good change that should see me somewhat over a 100% boost to performance over my Fury Tri-X One thing I love that I did not initially plan on is that this ROG Strix card also can do 0% fan speed at desktop and low stress games like my old card could. Very happy, not really worth adding to my cooling loop I think. Though EK waterblocks are about £35 cheaper than FE 1080Ti type card WBs - guess they have excess stock of WBs for a semi rare card that had great initial cooling 🙂

i had to use msi app only on silent mod if i use usual mod without msi gaming app it will crash my card is gtx 1080 gaming x:(

Seriously. At your request, I don't come in your driver threads spamming about how stupid they are, how about you don't come in here spamming that they aren't? Just leave official driver threads for official drivers and modified driver threads for modified drivers. If you want others to respect your threads you need to extend the same courtesy to others.

@CaptaPraelium He does in his thread explain how to do it yourself to be fair too. Anyone who feels uneasy can take that path instead. Back to drivers: Is it possible to use GFE without creating an account today? I had a quick look around and seems like a No still... Do I even want to use it, sorry for easy questions, not used NVidia since my 8800GT (great card, terrible drivers for multi screen support, they never bothered fixing a well known bug they were fully aware of in all the Years I used that card.)
