Is the fact that nvidia pushing this many hot fix drivers means something is wrong them? Ok.
before : nvidia released drivers that mostly fixed new things or added support since the last few months : they release hotfixes to try and fix new bugs they themselves added in the last driver their drivers are going downhill and fast since they break something new with almost each release fyi : 378.49 and .57 breaks skyrim ENBs on win7 1080gtx nonstop flickering on loading screen and when the game finally loads the ENB clearly doesn't look like it should, mine is way too sharp and bright now (makes it more video-game and less immersive, all skyrim players know that immersion is sacred ! lol) I rolled back to 376.60 everything is fine again

My guess they are casually trying to manipulate stock share...profits may be getting to big. Who knows for sure but, its not just lately. Odd decisions and crippling old cards have been happening for three generations now.
very probable scenario. could be US DOJ told them to give AMD more space on anti monopoly basis, so they started gimping gpus and drivers big time

One happening that would lend to this theory. When maxwell was released the new drivers reduced kepler performance by 5% (if I remember correctly) and never recovered. Mean while AMD was working on a new control panel and Driver which improved performance across generations. There have been several choices (gtx 970) since kepler that would have enticed customers to try AMD.

Well specific word is gimped. They are crooked to force people to purchase latest hardware. Iam expecting same thing will happen to my GTX 960 4GB when they release Volta.
