It's much better than New Colossus, albeit lacking the antialiasing modes of Old Blood. Old Blood was originally supposed to be two DLCs for New Order, but they released them sandwiched as a standalone expansion/game. It's a good game worth playing.

I seriously dont understand how it can be a good deal for epic giving away all those games. If you dont mind waiting for games, you'd never have to buy any game... just wait for them to be a free give away on epic store... lol

This is a great game, albeit the most horrible and gory that I've played. No spoilers but one part of the story is sheer OT horror/scifi genius.

Borderlands 3, Bioshock triple pack, Wolfenstein... There's been some pretty sweet free stuff lately.

It's easy. Some shady deals made in the back about data mining the hell outta users and they have more money made on you that selling the games. But we are not allowed to search a gift horse in the mouth.

the only data you need to give them is a fake email you set up from your office to claim a hundred free games.

It's simple money is in the store these days. Look at apple, google, steam, ... You make money out of others work and you gather data that you can sell. This said while i claim all the games they give i've yet to open the client to actually play a game once. I'm waiting for the client to be at least decent before doing so. I'm puzzled that in 2022 i'm still waiting for basic features like the ability to tag games. Being greeted by a wall of free games in my library with the only option to sort them being alphabetically or by recent games played is just mind boggling since the client has been out for so long. I mean how hard can it be to add this feature? Both my gog library and my steam library are managed using tags like backlog, will not play, finished, laptop, rpg, fps, ... atm i'd rather pay for a game and play it on gog or steam than play it for free on Epic. Nothing against Epic the company but their client is simply too basic for me.

I only have free games on epic (which alot at this point), and wouldn't ever buy a game there - steam is just better in every way. Everyone i know are the same... meaning it's probably quite a few people using epic just to gey freebies. Surely that cant be a good deal for them, data or not.

atm it's more than likely not. But they are using this tactic to make their store more popular hoping it one day will. I think they should probably slow down the gifts and start working on adding basic features to the store though and improving the speed of games updates.

Great game, but I tried replaying it recently and the 60 fps cap + the fact that g-sync doesn't work makes it a bit of a painful experience. After playing through Youngblood (though definitely the worst of the series gameplay/story wise) with its shiny smooth visuals with rt on, it takes a bit of willpower to go for 60 fps with tearing. 😛

They made a deal with the publisher and then it's all about how much they're ready to spend to acquire new users. My Epic Games library surpassed my steam library a couple months ago already. And i bought just 5 games or tho (including God of War). Not a fan at all of those Wolfenstein games.

Yeah, im close to 100 freebie games on epic now... which is ridiculous really xD Im not a fan of the new wolfenstein games either, but free is free... might aswell take it.

The issue i now face is which of the 100's of games i have in my libraries do i install and play. There's just too many good games i now have that'll probably never see my ssd. I could name all those games but i'm too lazy and there's too many game launchers to fire up just to check.

I remember having this problem but found a fix for it. I had no issues with cut scenes either. I was using a 144hz Gsync monitor at the time. It was probably this: https://www.dsogaming.com/news/here-is-how-you-can-unlock-the-framerate-in-rage-wolfenstein-the-new-order/

Hehe this is a quality problem to have 😛 . 15 years back I was too broke to get new games for a period and my library was too poor ... I might broke down and put my eye patch for a bit back then .
