I got a dozen of free games in Epic store and not even 1 purchase - I never even installed the client and don't intend to in the near future...
If a game is an Epic exclusive ill wait for a crack...
if its not ill buy it on steam or GOG
that's what i think about that crappy store....

I'd already bought Metro 2033 Redux (as well as Metro Last Light Redux) from Steam, I'd sure as heck grab this from EGS if I hadn't. I just told my nephew about it, even suggested he give it a go because.....well, it's free, and it's an excellent game.

If anyone has concerns about the store, I'm guessing they don't have Steam, Origin and/or Uplay etc installed? Does another front end really carry any additional risk that would never be present in any competitor, either currently or in the future?

Very Very generous Epic I applaud you. I think Epic is trying to establish their customer base by using enticing tactics.
Well no but Epic is still new to this as far as offering other games other than their own and there is alot of things that they need to improve with their store. Like tweak their fraud-protection so that is not so picky because during their major sales alot of customers got locked out of purchasing games. Also their launcher is still new and it needs alot of work.

Like the 3 Arkham games by Rocksteady I already own this Metro, but heck, I'll take this to this launcher too. 39 games for free so far, can't complain.

Already have this on Steam, but might as well grab another one. Doesn't hurt to have a backup option.

Just picked up Metro 2033 Redux for £2.99, great game but wowza Metro EE is so much more polished.
Enjoying redux but the limitations with kit and weapon modifying is frustrating.
What I do like is its not as linier as I expected, and by that I mean cause and effect. I played through one section three times and each time the enemy reacted very differently, nice to know its no strictly scripted.

There are plenty of threads for Metro 2033, some started by the boss, not so many for Metro 2033 Redux, irrespective of what one i chose there would still be others, but thank you Alessio1989 for having nothing better to do than jump on other peoples posts and point out the obvious.

I know what Necrosis is, but ive no idea what you or the other fella mean by 'Necro', not everybody is a computer forum pest.
Putting 'Metro 2033 Redux' into the forum search brings up exactly two results, one regarding crashing and the other regarding the game being free, so i selected the latter as my post regarded buying the game rather than an issue with it.
What next, trawling the forums looking for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors?
