God I wish I had 3 monitors. Loved Grid 1 and this looks bad ass. GRID had awesome engine sounds especially in tunnels and when cars were around you. Summer 2013 is too far away!

street racing? these are closed tracks with people watching you like a pro event, most wanted is a real "street racing" game, i wish codemaster release a mw sequel and not EA, at least tell me this thing has cockpit view, dirt showdown already dissappointed me

If Grid 2 didnt have a cockpit view the internet is gonna riot lol. Dirt 3 has some amazing camera mods, and this game uses the same upgraded ego engine as dirt 3. Dirt showdown was just a different game for Codemasters too do. It wasnt amazing but was just a decent racing game.

this was just another arcade 3rd person racing game for me, boring as hell too, these games lack any kind of history line and are damn easy, after you get tired of crashing cars to see how good they look there is nothing interesting btw i could see the pilot's animations inside some cars like they did in dirt2/3 it was that hard to keep the cockpit view? i cant see a reason to remove it, doesnt make any sense really

it doesnt and wont, check their forums. The Dirt developers said via tweet( and kinda taking the piss ) that they will include cockpit in future Dirt games( dunno about spinoffs ) and said they may even consider 2 cockpit cams( i.e. the pistake ). I have 3 screens, G25 and trackir which only works in cockpit view, i love Grid, it just strikes the right balance between arcade and sim( not saying in anyway its a sim ), but this no cockpit view( which means no trackir and pointless 3 screen setup ) just makes it a no buy for me and another indication of dumbing down franchises rather than expanding upon them.

Ive grown tired of this codemasters engine. (unless they changed it this year and i havent read about it) so I'll pass. Gonna wait for a new engine, then see what they make with that.

The gameplay while very pretty, looks as unrealistic as the first. In the first,you could be flat out in front of the pack in a straight away and all the sudden all the cars would surge past you out of nowhere.
