Seems like another memorable villain, forgettable main character thing again. Carrying the tradition ever since Far Cry 2.

Until it's released. :P I hope that's not a new hobby for Ubisoft starting from Watch_Dogs.

I just hope this version has good multiplayer! The last few have sucked in that regard.

Looks good, although similar premise to FC3 from what I can see. Still the setting sounds interesting!

If they make the action a bit more brutal and realistic and at the same time keep the good aspects of FC3 it could turn out great (aka mix and blend the good aspects of FC2 and FC3).

If you think about it, it can work even better when its like that. How? Well, if they give the main villain more attention and not the main/good/user character, its better(atleast in FC) because in the end its us(players) vs the villain. We(players) are the main characters and not the guy in the selfie. What I mean by that. In FC3 I almost can't remember the main character. When I think about FC3, I remember/feel like it was just me vs Vaas. I felt it was more personal/immersive. Just think about it. I know its a bit twisted/weird logic but I think there's something in the above. 😉 Also the guy he's not as cool as Vaas as far as I can tell, but it might change later in the game. But he also has the cool bad vibe. "Stop, shoot. Stop, shoot." lol 😀 P.S: And the graphics looks quite good.

Seems less macho, more psychopathic, more calculated crazy then Vaas at a first glance.

Well, the first 5 minutes play out in the same way as FC3. The graphics (ah yes, those sacred graphics) are something that has become inconsequential to games since that particular technological riddle appears to have been solved. Which leaves us all with the only question we really care about...how will it play? I for one hope FC4 leans back towards being a game again and not forward towards being yet another interactive movie sequel. I want interactive controls, NO QTE's or takedowns and no HUD please. I want to feel "in the game"...not watching the game. And please stop trying to turn games into some sort of gratuitous Internet venue.

And a lot less fun I might add. But lets not forget that the whole Vaas concept was also greatly helped by the whole setting. I mean the tropic island, jungles etc. I mean Vaas obviously wouldn't "fit" that well in the mountains. So, the new villain looks good enough so far. Lets hope he gets "better" more in the game. All in all personally I got spoiled really bad with Vaas. I know some/many don't feel this way but I consider him one of the best characters in a game.
