Well I just loaded it back up today, after doing nothing but shutting down lastnight, and vSync is working now, but those shadows are still around That huge shadow in front of me moves with me, I think it's meant to be his body shadow, but pretty sure he's not a huge spongebob square pants http://i.imgur.com/NTKBb3A.png

Patch not showing on Steam or Uplay. Any ideas how to get it? Guess I might be unlucky and have to wait but I don't know how you normally get patches with a game that is Steam AND Uplay at the same time.

When did you download the game from Steam or UPlay? If you mean you have the Steam version is should already be up to date as it updates the file repositories directly so someone downloading the game now will get the latest version of the game supplied to Steam (1.10.0 or if it was 1.11.0) and for UPlay it used to require separate patches but for their newer games they also update the base files with the latest build so if that's where you downloaded it from and if it was recently (Well within a year actually.) it should also already be up to date. 🙂 (It'll display a version number in the main menu so it's not too difficult to check.)

Wonder what could be causing that shadow glitch, some bug with the lighting shaders perhaps? (But yeah it appears like that's meant to be the character shadows and it's being glitched to where it's a huge square box for some reason.) EDIT: Could be something with the game it seems, I did a quick search and found this. https://steamcommunity.com/app/298110/discussions/0/624076027463672257/ (So something with the Northern areas of the game.)

This game is still so broken Tried the guide from your link, set all graphics options back to default, and then set everything back up manually one by one apart from shadows Hit apply (Game crashes) Kill it, try again Game crashes F it
