Not sure I see a point for a mATX X99 myself but we shall see.

Waiting to see what Asus brings? Their ROG Hero edition mATX boards usually bring 10 Sata 6 ports, if so that's what I would get! I only need two full bandwidth PCI-E slots at the most anyways! I just hope their Intel chips...

it happens that I hate small motherboard , not recommended for big system

It actually would be interesting to see if the big one could go with x16/-/x16/-/x4 or something more like x16/-/x16/x8/x4.

Liking the right-angled things.

yea almost all people building an x99 system are doing it in a large tower. I'll be putting it in my fortress ft02. Doesn't look right putting a matx board in a full size tower.

Other than that, can't wait for EVGA to dethrone ASUS in the enthusiasts segment.

Small typo, the classified has eight DIMMs instead of four. Other than that, can't wait for EVGA to dethrone ASUS in the enthusiasts segment.[/Quote] Depends on how it performs, and the extras, which are subject to speculation right now. And I believe the asus boards have more (useless?) stuff like "better" audio, lan, fan control, whatever. I would go for evga depending on fan control and PCIe lane configuration with multiple (graphics) cards.

I wouldn't exactly call them useless, but I meant by using the "Classified" branding, it usually indicates a superior VRM circuitry compared to any other board, which should allow for extreme OCs and maybe new world records. ASUS is dominating the enthusiast market almost unchallenged, would like to see EVGA change that starting with these boards.

I agree, as competition is always good for customers! My main reason to go for asus would be fan control, since they are said to have now fully implemented pwm on those formerly fake 4pin chassis fan connectors. Because, honestly, in the average computer most mainboards with the same chipset perform in the same range, at least in most benchmarks that is in my opinion.

The gigantic red E on the heatsink ruins it for me. Why put that there? At least make it black so it blends in with the rest of the board.

Hmm I really can't see any usage for this unless you want to have a some kind of LAN party computer or small server.
