Heh yeah, but don't these PSU's work in a way which means they only draw the amount of power that the components require? Though of course if you're running tri-SLI Titan Black or Crossfire R9 295's you probably need a bit of power though 1600 is likely still a little overkill. :P

The JonnyGuru review states the same thing: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=391 Apparently they're waiting to put out a high power Platinum PSU, can't wait to see what that can do considering how well the 1600 G2 runs.

It doesn't constantly run at 1600W unless you are putting that much load on it.
