That is an amazing PSU. Complete overkill even for 99% of enthusiasts but it is gorgeous.

Excellent review Hilbert. As hallryu stated, this power supply is total overkill for 99% of people out there. I've been playing around with this unit for about a week now and it's a solid design. EVGA did an excellent job on this one. In case anyone is wondering, I do have a load tester that will properly test power supplies and even take them to their limits if need be. This particular unit that I have "can" pull about 16 amps (15.62A to be precise) before OCP will trip. Milage will vary on other units. If my math is correct, that's is about 1880w. This is the only PSU I have ever tested that has gone +200w past is max wattage and managed to survive. 🤓

Monster PSU that. I'd go for that now if I was in the market for one similar to mine, the cabling is just beautiful.

Wow that is one killer PSU. I love EVGA products and they have done it again here, I'm in love.

Surely an impressive PSU and has great looks. Still I love my 4year old Toughpower 1500w.

Great psu, if only they had a 1000w version, would be perfect for sli/quad sli...

very nice unit, Although I dont think I would ever use that much power. but if I ever had cash to burn I would definetly jump on it.

i don't think sow if you make a Quad sli of 690 then i think even 2kw could be barely enough .

750watts split into 4 rails? LOL, That makes this PSU almost Completely worthless! The whole point in buying a PSU with 750 watts and over 60amps is so you can run a high end GPU that needs allot of amps. You will have a need for two PCIe power cables needed for almost every High End GPU, And since each PCIe plug will only have 20amps each this will not be enough for some High End Graphics cards. I can't believe anyone would still actually make a low wattage split rail PSU. It's pointless! You may as well buy a cheaper single rail 500watt!

Reading fail. Its a 1500w PSU. Even if it was a 750w unit with 4 rails that would be no problem. 2x 8-pins = 300w (150w x2) + 75w pci-e. Each GPU cable could be on separate rail.
