Kinda hillarious if they do, especially when thinking back to AMD's below 8GB is not enough campaign.
These are entry level cards, though. I kind of doubt AMD has campaigned for cards of this class to have 8GB minimum. Even only half-serious sunday gamers shouldn't be buying cards like this, unless they only play some old e-sports titles that even a Sodastream carbonator could run at 60fps. If that's all they do, then 4GB is plenty.

It all depends on what games you play, settings you use and resolution of your screen. 4Gb are enough for most people if you're willing to work with it. And I would prefer a 4Gb card to no card at all. Now the price to performance, that will sting for sure.

The ironic part is that they used that campaign as a vs Nvidia thing, guess who delivered the fastest cards with less memory... Oh, and they did add 8GB to rather low end cards.
