since SLI is 2 way only now and AMD doesn't make much so to go 3 way, is this simply a miner PSU? No gamer would need/want it.

My server/crouncher has 2x 1200w. It has 2x gpu's and 144TB with raid-6. 16 core Amd cpu. For me 2x psu is the best options for cablemanagment with many hdd's and ssd's in raid. New maxrevo 1800w looks nice 🙂

you seem to have a spaceship, not a pc, did it reach the moon yet? BTW, ssd/hdd do not require much power, you could have gotten away with one psu and power splitters for those.

I have run as well as you 2*PSU(Seasonic 1250w and Corsair RM750W) switched to Superflower Leadex 8pack 2000W just few weeks ago Running 5960x, 4*GPUs (RTX 2080Ti, GTX1080Ti, GTX 1080 and GTX1080), GPUs and CPU are OC,several HDD and SSD, in total 10*SATA devices etc What I hate on these high power PSU is noise, my Superflower is loud, similar to Seasonic XM2 1250W what I run previously Cable management with single PSU is in my case much easier than with two of them Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

Gamer is not probably their target market, I would say they're targeting OC'ers who are running multiple GPUs and CPU like is 7980XE etc Plus if you shunt mod yours GPU then power draw will go out of window, you can see 400W easy, similar on GTX1080Ti with shunt mod you can see 500W Have look I'm running Superflower Leadex 8pack 2000W PSU and i do use my PC only for rendering and some occasional rendering Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

That's a room heater, not a PC. 😉

I'd gotten an Enermax Max Revo 1500W PSU back in 2013, not long after getting a Seasonic X-1250, as I had multiple rigs back then, and even now actually. It's in my present i7 4770K + Radeon VII rig, it was powering a pair of GTX Titan a couple of years back, like the Seasonic, it's a solid piece of hardware that has not let me down since I'd gotten it.

If this had a way to power two systems at once (for my 2nd minibuild in my Evolve X case) I would think about it. But seems like I have to go for Phanteks own PSU for that.
