Objects, vegetation, life close to viewport look incredibly well with self shadowing.
Objects far away have reasonable quality considering it is open world game.
From Graphical standpoint this game is at very good level. If it performs well and has good story, it may be successful.

Risen was a good game but 2 and 3...:bang:
Now they recovered the Gothic franchise (after Gothic 4 aberration) what i want is a new Gothic game.

And looks like there's magic in this too (floating boulder).
But I guess they see a market with stalker out of action. More creative than their last entries.
All their games have been pretty terribly polished and optimised though, so no high hopes.

I've been a fan of the Gothic and Risen franchises but I always had an issue with the clunky movements and combat. Hope it isn't in this game.

I can still remember when i wanted the Gothic 1 or 2 with the movement of the Enclave Game, and then it came Demons Souls, that is the perfect game, now we have the Souls Franchise, that is all i wanted, only thing missing in From games is that they are not as large as Gothic, so I can only imagine a Souls Gameplay, with the worlds of Witcher or Gothic, that would be my cup of tea

This looks bland, like it was slapped together from random assets. There is no consistency in art style. The last screenshot sum this all up.

I fail to see the lack of consistency in art style. It looks pretty damn consistent to me.

Risen 3 is a good game. If you are basing your judgement off of 2, which does suck, dont. R3 is by far and away better than 2, and just as good as 1 IMO.
People didn't give R3 a chance. It felt more Gothic/GII than any game since the latter. (Except maybe Risen 1)

I have the 3 Risen series games, i finished 1 and i still don't believe how i finished 2.
I stopped playing 3 at around 60%, i'll try to finish it.
I must admit 3 is better than 2 but IMHO it's not near 1.
I want Gothic back!

At least Gothic 1/2 got Dx11 upgrade recently.

Never heard of this game.
The scenery looks washed out and the textures arent very sharp. Other than that it looks OK I guess.
