meeh. F1 (and games) died when they decided to put sub 8 cyl in them, and uplay/origin apps are already bad enough, so i wont "add" whatever equivalent EA is running.

I'm pretty sure EA can help Codemasters to create proper multiplayer titles with vast amount of players and a Need For Speed title with proper physics, driving model, etc. I think Codemasters has wanted to create something bigger and really utilize the online component more, but even their Racenet system which just keeps track of record times and such has been clunky. This is really an opportunity to create greater racing games and have funds to support good games longer like Dirt Rally 2.0. I just hope they don't fail with their first game under EA to avoid any cuts or layoffs. Overall I'm tad optimistic about this move. My only real concern is that they will produce more casual games now like the Dirt base series, but let's hope for the opposite.

This the worst. I have Origin for my Son and all the Fifa stuff, but I really have no love for EA.

EA has no damn clue what proper phsyics are. They cant even make a proper madden to beat a 15 year old NFL 2k5. Need for speed, even in its serious titles that were not pure arcade had trash phsyics. CM is dead. And you are a fool to think EA wont EFFF this up either.

Good god the games industry is dying! There's just nothing original about it any more for me...

That is Bad. A real WTF from me. The UK will soon have no gaming studios left. Warwickshire will become an employment black spot. The only jobs going will be at the Castle cleaning out the pigs.
You guys still have Dovetail Games who fleece people with thousands of dollars worth of broken and buggy DLC for both of their train simulators

since they put a stop to modding the f1games we had to suffer boring f1 games that have little realism.

That was the newer one right? Not the 'original' from Bohemia in 2000 ?
I mean more the fact they own the name Operation Flashpoint now after Codemasters took it from us, still grates with me to this day 🙁

Undying:

So Dirt is now EA property, lovely.
Funny how the words EA and Dirt go so well together.

Jedi Knight 2 and Academy were both great.

Loved Outcast as well. Good enough story, and multiplayer was tons of fun in both of those games.
