Codemasters is dead. All good racing games by them will turn into complete trash. Shame. Eff EA.

Another great gaming company added to the ever-growing scrap heap of gaming history. Bought by a company that dismantles everything good in the games that they have acquired. Dirt 2023 is going to be a Sonic reboot with microtransactions everywhere. Every upgrade added to your car will now cost real money. F1 2022, all clothing worn by the drivers you will have to purchase with in-game transactions and let's not even get started on the cars. R.I.P Codemasters and all the games you ever created.

The Codemasters reboot of Flashpoint was DOA anyways. The original developers (Bohemia Interactive) are still doing their proper game.

That is Bad. A real WTF from me. The UK will soon have no gaming studios left. Warwickshire will become an employment black spot. The only jobs going will be at the Castle cleaning out the pigs.

This is very disappointing. I have friends who work(ed) at a studio CodeMasters bought last year and now it's been sold again. I bet they are very bummed about being bought again, especially since this time it's EA.
