It looks awesome! I wonder how much it's going to cost.

Its EIZO. Whatever you think is a reasonable price you should probably triple it & that should be about right 🙁

The professional photo editing screens cost 1000 euros, i think this will be over a 1000.

Yea VA matrix and 120HZ x2 sounds sick, also low 4ms g2g time. I wish my Eizo Foris 2333 had at least 120HZ lol

Wow now this is the quality I've been waiting for to finally come out. Tired of seeing only 60 hz and 1000:1 contrast ratio and going to 10-bit another plus.

If it's doing 240Hz interpolation (which it is) the input lag is going to be pretty high. Couple that with the cost, which will probably be around $1500 (considering the target market) and I don't think this will be a choice for gaming.

The monitor converts 120 Hz input signals to 240 Hz, doubling the number of frames for sharper, highly visible images with reduced motion blur that is caused by frame changes.
Useless for gaming then basically.

I'm pretty sure the 240 Hz is just an option you can turn on and off, also its not made to be a gaming screen.

It's sick where the whole display industry is going. in about 3 years most of us will have a 4K displays in our pockets while very few will have the luxury of having one on the desk. What's the point?

If that 4K display comes with 4-way SLI i buy one. I'm not really interested in 5 fps on a single card.

Actually, if I had an opportunity to get 4k display for a reasonable price, I'd grab one right away. They have great FullHD fallback, as it means 2x2 pixels of display mapped to 1 pixel from graphics card, so no blurring whatsoever. You can work with screen at full resolution (and high-dpi text and graphs look gorgeous), while gaming at resolution that matches your computer specs, so let's say StarCraft 2 at 4k and Battlefield 4 at FullHD. win-win 🙂 Regarding the monitor from the 1st post, I'd really like to see it in action both in 240Hz and no-interpolation modes. EIZO is EIZO. I once had their ColorEdge T965 CRT display. I bought it used, as paying >2k € would be "a little too much" for me. The image was stunning - colors looked so real, there was almost no geometry distortion, and it was quick, really quick. It supported 1600x1200 @ 100Hz, and lower resolutions at some sick refresh rates. Pair it with no lag in modes with no enhancements, and you'll get much better gaming experience. It did make a lot of difference in shooters and racing games.

I'm planning to get a EIZO CX240 but i'm worried about the small fan it has. Some people claim it's quite noisy. Wouldn't be for me then since i got a whisper silent PC aswell : / I'm not happy with my current EIZO EV2436W at all. Lack of colors and uniformity. I came from a EIZO S2231W which was also a photo editing screen and the colors are just amazing. Once you're used to that you don't want anything else really.
