Glu has been around for ages making bad games on every platform known to man. One of the forerunners of the free garbage game wave that ruined mobile devices as a gaming platform.

You know, it's fitting, somehow...

It's like they have something in common.

We can hate on EA a lot, and it's justified. But they have been funding and publishing some of the greatest games of all time. Let's hope that them buying mobile garbage developers can satisfy their desire to nickle and dime people out of everything they own and leave their PC and console games out of this type of business. Or maybe they want Glu to act as a kind of consultancy bureau for the rest of their business so that all their games can be transformed in to a never-ending cash grab machine without soul.

Gosh it's been so long since I've actually purchased an EA game... challenge everything. Don't get me wrong, I used to love everything EA, heck I've got a shelf of games next to me here that are all EA... I have a hard time finding any enjoyment in the things they publish for quite a while now, a lot of the studio's I used to love have either been shut down or gutted from the inside and are now just names with no soul.

This is... odd. Normally EA buys wildly successful studios and finds a way to milk them dry to the point of irrelevancy. This seems like something that is already on its way out, and probably wasn't hugely successful to begin with. That being said, I'm actually happy about this. We need more stupid decisions to bring down EA.

Nothing will satisfy them, ever, very seriously. The business models these companies have are literally that of infinite profit, which any idiot can tell you is impossible. There's a reason why the top Turbo-Scum companies like EA are so horny for gambling/"micro" transactions. Each cycle, whatever that may be for EA, they have some ludicrous goal of profit beyond the previous, with the previous insane profits being considered failure if not well surpassed. This is how all scum companies operate, even for physical goods; EB Games/Gamestop does this as well. It typically goes: 1 - A person or team comes up with ways to steal/cheat with gamblings/loot boxes/mIcRoTrAnSaCtIoNs, nickle and dime by cutting out quality, abuse the workers harder for less, or in the case of physical goods come up with more ways being sneaky about how to cut out quantity as well. In the case of huge companies like EA, they literally hire psychologists, and former casino staff, to work on their manipulation methods for their gambling/microtransactions. 2 - A person or team which approves of it or rejects it and/or adds more to it. 3 - Some scumbag overpaid piece of shit parasite upon society approves/rejects overall. 4 - Finally, it's left to the poor suckers who work for chump change to somehow pull it off; the devs, engineers, salesment, etc. This is even done by shitty restaurant chains; I forgot which one but one of the scumheads came up with the brilliant idea of no longer cooking their pasta with salt, to make their shitty pots which already last decades last longer. And they actually did it. It was one of those pseudo-Italian 'Murican restaurants. They don't want greater profit, they want infinite profit, and they'll shit on anything and everything, including human lives, to achieve it. Not to mention they literally steal from you in NA (and I bet Europe as well): They "pay" literally NEGATIVE taxes total through loopholes which all scummy mega corporations abuse (taxes are for worthless plebeians like normal hardworking people). In the end they get millions of dollars in tax returns for that $0 tax they paid. These. Companies. Steal. From. Us. It's our duty to pirate their shit to make sure a cent doesn't go to them beyond what they're already stealing. Jim Sterling has mentioned this theft they all do in multiple videos, if you watch his content you've run into it by now.

Stock market is full of companies that do not need to be there. That is everything you've said in a nutshell, minus JS, because he does not do his research properly
