These drivers made everything seem washed out with what feels like a white tint. Reverted back to 17.4.3 and immediately better.
They are fine for me...you might wish to reinstall--the "clean install" function works fine with these--but I had trouble with clean install with the 17.4.3's...(I always "clean install" these days and wonder what took them so long to automate the uninstall/install...!) So far, so good...:D

IdTech5 games (RAGE, Wolfenstein TNO and TOB) crash on startup since 17.4.2. Has been reported several times. Adding an atioglxx.dll from a working set to the game folder would fix it in the past, does not work anymore. I also tried DOOM 3 BFG, which does work, but performance is terrible. Something was changed in AMD's OpenGL implementation which is not properly supporting these games anymore. I think I should mention that Dishonored 2, which runs on a modified IdTech5 Engine, is not affected by any of this.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein runs for me and does not crash, but is opening a screen at the wrong resolution making it unplayable atm. Will check into it further in a bit. Edit: Nevermind...game runs fine--I was running it from the x86-64 patch--from the standard SP executable it runs fine, I'm glad to say...;)

The first 17.4.x release with some tweaks i've tried with it to play again my games without using an older driver ! What i see is in the resolutioncp on windows i cant setup ANY resolution ... so i tried to fix it myself ! What i've done after driver installation was : no restart , i did a shutdown .Then started my PC opened the radeonsettings activated GPU-Scaling and VSR . Now i can see in the windows resolutioncp i have the option to choose a resolution again ! yeehhhh BF1 and any other game is starting and playing fine ! OCN=FTW

for wolfenstein... "Fix the crash to desktop problem 1. Go to the root folder of Wolfenstein: New Order 2. Create a txt (steam_appid.txt) 3. Inside put steam game id (201810 in this case) 4. Then Re-name the exe-file WolfOldBlood_x64.exe into WolfOldBlood_x32.exe 5. Launch the game directly from that re-named file (or create a shortcut from it on your desktop), the original Steam link for that game won't work now. " this actually worked for me....

I think it would not work for me because in this you are trying to pass The New Order as The Old Blood. Neither of those work, so I am not really sure what this accomplishes. My solution is to reinstall these games to my other box with my 390X running 16.11.5. No issues at all.

Someone testet with the Forza H3 Loadingtimes and Grafics issue?
4 long minutes loading time for Forza Horizon 3. No artifacts. Back to 17.2.1
Same here. Immense loading times, artifacts and lower framerates 🙁 OpenGL with CEMU seems to be working really nicely though. Judging by the rest of the comments here, it seems that the have changed something. Endless Space 2 still won't move past the initial loading screen :infinity:

Driver version was updated from 17.10.1711 to 17.10.1731 so there were probably some tweaks here and there besides just adding a DOW3 profile and updating a couple of others.

I changed the pixel format from YCbCr to RGB and everything is back to normal.

Newest 2 Wolfenstein games, and I am guessing any others by same developer, still CTD without event on this newest driver. I just installed it. Desktop seems cool thus far. Games function well by adding files from previous driver package, just fyi.
What driver package version, please? (17.3.4 atioglxx.dll or newer did not work)

Clock for clock, does that rectify an issue over the 8 GB RX 480, or does it mean it now performs 7 percent better in addition to the extra clock? 🙂
In addition. This is a driver after all. I bet that there is a similar increase for most GCN cards.

I just tried with my 390X, and nope, no go. As per the release notes under known issues, it doesn't work.
