[youtube=BX2IENd9hy8] I'm very sorry for speaking out so soon (I know it was to early) it's as bad as the previous driver when it comes to Overwatch (only driver installed) already revert back to 17.10.1. I made a video (starts at 2:40 due to me crashing on every match start...) as proof for those of you who think I'm making this stuff up and going back to 17.10.1 is the only way around it.
If you wanna play overwatch install 17.7.1 until they fix the problem.

The only fool I see around is you, who makes bold claims that not even AMD is willing to make. I am going to report your posts from now, each time you come charging at a member who reports a legitimate issue that is left unsolved in releases after releases, as you claim the issue is non existent on your end therefore the person mustn't repeatedly share his/her experience in these forums.

I play OW quite a lot with the same card, and I am yet to crash even once. I'm either very lucky or this OW issue depends a lot on system spec.
I install the latest driver 17.10.3 but skip the relive installation. Tested OW in around 2 hours in arcade mode (3 lockup hero) and 2 rank games without a crash. But deathmatch every single game in middle I get crash .. hmm Other mode fine to me.

Yeah. Deathmatch crashing every match. Othermode seems to be fine. I played Arcade mode (3 lockup hero and Random Hero) almost three hours without crash.

Regarding Wolf 2 and this driver... there is a beta patch available with these changes

Temporarily disabled Async compute on 1080ti until driver fix is in -> OMG, nV don't have ACE !!!!!! so they can't do Async Compute, because it's GCN DX12 Feature only !!!! What driver Fix? Is there a fix for Radeon 1950X to have Tesselators in driver? therefore it can run DX11 games? 😛 It only proofs that Wolf2 have more than 3 effects on ACE, maby like DOOM? my Guess: 1. AO 2. AA 3. Multiple Shader Compilers for faster command execution. But if game have only one thing in Async then nV can "emulate" as it's own Context Switching (Preemption) but still it is NOT the Valid Asynchronous compute! Maby Volta for Gamers will pack it's Tensor Cores 😉 (Yes they Learn) -> One capability that AMD has talked up extensively is GCN’s support for asynchronous compute. Asynchronous compute allows all GPUs based on AMD’s GCN architecture to perform graphics and compute workloads simultaneously. Я установить последнюю версию драйвера 17.10.2 потом 17.10.3 после перезагрузки черный экран, откат на версию 17.10.1 все норма почему так???

Have you tried to remove driver leftovers by DDU and then install 17.10.3?

Yes, I deleted the scrap driver on the DDU, there was no problem before installing 17.10.2 and 17.10.3

Older GCN have 2-4 ACE Fiji have 8 ACE and VEGA have 4 ACE
R9 290/X are older than Fiji and have 8. R9 285 also supposedly has 8.

290/X has 8, and Fiji had 8 but later 4 of those were replaced through software updates by 2 HWS and Fiji has 4 ACE + 2 HWS like Polaris (and Tonga?). No idea if it makes any difference at all

This driver is fall creators update only?? I got installed 17.10.1 without any problems,on 17.10.2 and 17.10.3 this thing pops out and control panel dont start at all.

Getting a lot of "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Never had this before.
