Just intsalled these drivers. I'm having a 5600x CPU andi go to "tuning" only thing i can overclock there is GPU. Did they remove CPU Overclocking? I mean i never used it, i'm just surprised it isn't there. Here's a screenshot of what it "should" look like (not my screenshot).

So, Vega users still have the crapping black lightning bug on game inventory and the rest of cyberpunk, somone already test it?!
Yeah gcn isnt getting love anymore. I would not be surprised if they drop the driver support with rdna3 release.

To me, those numbers look like they are within the margin of error/run to run variance, and nowhere near the 10% improvement mentioned in the Patch notes. Since the Patch note does imply that it's Ryzen 9 5900HX specific, I think that's where we'll see the most benefits. Nonetheless, thank you for taking the time to do/share the results of the benchmark, it's always appreciated. If you want longer/more variable benchmark runs for Cyberpunk 2077, please, feel free to DM me. I have modded the benchmark scene to something longer, that is more streaming intensive.

Odd, do you have Ryzen Master installed as well? Maybe that is needed?

Yeah the big improvements mentioned in the patch notes apply to Cezanne CPUs and maybe previous CPUs with integrated graphics.

They have laptop Ryzen 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 APUs all with Vega iGPUs. GCN5 support isn't going anywhere for the next decade.

It doesn't need Ryzen Master. I just have the same things as on the screenshot. But there you can just activate +200 boost, nothing more. It's useful with the new AGESA 1.2.0.5 BIOS-es where +200 option is missing. You can't do there real overclock of your CPU. "Manual Tuning: Custom" option on the shot isn't active (doesn't do anything).

Still have high vram clocks and the task bar transparency issue here...

If I render a video in Adobe Premiere, it leaves my GPU at full 3D clock the whole time until I restart the driver.

March/April.
Anything to support this hypothesis for March/April? Not trying to be rude, just wondering cause I’m hyped about RSR in the driver.

It's the last opportunity for "Q1 release"

Thanks! I am really hoping they don’t push it to Q2, don’t necessarily need it but it is a nice thing to have.

Both is listed under "known issues". Also the transparency of the Radeonsettings itself are often bugged as well. Just open it up and sometimes the Radeon-Logo in the Taskbar will be missing. if that is the case the whole radeon settings are in-transparent as well. If you then close it (you don't need to kill it, just close) and open it again it will be normal.

anyone checked if those improvements are really only with SAM on?

CPC_RedDawn:

These hardware specific or will these also translate to all hardware? Seems to be fixing a CPU bound issue as all the games tested are at 1080p?
yeah quite strange, and no mention about 1440p for example
