Hello. Does anyone know if these new drivers give the option of 10bit output via HDMI?

For anyone that struggles with the start menu not opening after installing drivers you can get around this by keeping it open during install
Or you can kill it in Task Manager and thus restarting it.

Any benches comparing hardware scheduling on vs off?

The screen tearing in apps that aren't GPU accelerated (such as Windows Explorer) is still there.

Tested Detroit and Jedi: Fallen Order with this driver, and both games run great. Fallen Order does feel a bit smoother and more responsive with HAGS enabled.

It's a way the best whql Nvidia driver since a long time, a little bit better than 451.22 in performance, still didn't bench HAGS, and more games, i'll report when it's done 🙂

Should we use DDU before installing these or can we install on top of 451.22?

Is Geforce Experience dead or something?

The only issue I experienced in the games I tested with the previous stable and excellent v451.22 developer driver was Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition running at 10 fps (although, oddly, the Classic version ran fine on the same driver) so it is great news that it is fixed already. What is a bit concerning though is the number of unresolved issues, some of which go back months such as the Forza Motorsport 7 graphical bug with kerbs. That has been listed as a bug for many months now so I am surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

https://i.imgur.com/dmGH3zo.png Yesterday I bought an MSI M/B Z390 Tomahawk ( special offer only 130€ from 190€ while in my country hardware is exceptionally expensive ) along with 2 970 EVO Plus SSDs. Did a clean install of Windows 2004. Previous driver was working great but hadn't had support for Hardware Scheduling and generally the new features. Let's hope they're gonna be stable. If I need to disable anything related, like Game Mode or something, please, let me know. Thank you in advance. P.S. 1: And I'm pretty sure this supports WDDM 2,7, right? P.S. 2: I guess the DDU utility at this instance is mandatory in my opinion, especially for those who haven't had 450.xxx.

The last week Nvidia Control Panel got 2 updates within Windows Store. From 9.1.956.0 to 9.1.957.0 and now 9.1.958.0. Nevertheless, I encountered no problem anyway.
EdKiefer:

What I do is use right click on start menu>Shutdown>restart. For about last year normal start menu restart doesn't work on my end.
Out of curiosity, ASRock M/B? Mine couldn't shut down properly. After the command, fans will still working etc. Searched on the web and many have such problems with cheap ASRock M/Bs. For you information, when you will enable Hardware Scheduling, you're gonna need restart in order to start working.

Right.

Additionally, this driver supports Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling when used with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update. Does HAGS supported on Maxwell?
No. Pascal and higher.
data/avatar/default/avatar04.webp
anyone registered any performance increase with that acceleration on?

No. Pascal and higher.
just a quick question from an curious User here... What is teh technical reason that the "Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling" only works with Pascal and higher and not Maxwell for example.. Im just interessted in the techical side of things and hope this can be answered 🙂 Best Regards

You can also create shortcuts on your desktop for shutdown or restart. Quicker than accessing start menu for that. Type location/path of new shortcut as follows: Shutdown: C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -s -t 00 Restart: C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00

For some reason as soon as I installed the driver I could see 2 options under windows graphics elements, I don`t know their names in english but something like hardware acceleration and something about refresh rating. Now, after a reboot, there is only the hardware thing... Anyone with that problem?
