In BF1 do you run Dx12 or Dx11 ? I saw many posts on BF1 forum were the Dx12 runs better on 10xx cards. It doesn't for me with 970 last time i checked, the fps spread is more in Dx12 (min to avg to max).
DX12, ultra preset. 1080p From average of 130 to around 155 at times but average of 145fps.

Its been elaborated in 378.49 and 378.57 driver thread. Quick recap, new compute optimization option broke hw physx. Quick check gpu-z and you will see missing hw physx.

Massive FPS gain in BF1 and GTA V. Around 10 FPS is both. A definit keeper for me.
BF1 was also patched today though. does that have anything to do with your 10fps gain?

Sad to see this. Guess I'm staying with 376.60 for a while longer. I'm interested in Sniper Elite 4, but I'm waiting until it goes on sale and has Denuvo removed. Maybe by that point we will have a working 378.xx or 380.xx that works for the 980Ti's.

For me there still is an incompatibility with SweetFX FarCry Primal (a crash when starting a message Faulting application name: FCPrimal.exe ....) so back to 376.33 where everything is absolutely o.k. 378.xx series is for me by far unusable. In other games where you just. SweetFX this error is not ....

Performance is the same as the 378.49, give or take 1 or 2 fps. Didn't see any real gains in GTA either.

It's a back door way of Nvidia trying to get you to buy a PhysX GPU. 🙂
