I've never been able to get Ansel to work except for immediately after installing a new driver. As soon as I reimport my custom profiles (stored in TXT format using the NVIDIA SLI Profile Tool) then it stops working. I don't usually install the two 3D profiles either but I'm unsure if I even need to or not as there are no instructions per se. What is particularly annoying with Ansel is that there is no mention of it at all in the NVIDIA control panel or the game so it isn't even obvious which games support it and which don't. I only know Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and The Witcher 3 do because I read about it on the net. NVIDIA are doing a very poor job IMO of promoting awareness of it and how to actually use the damn thing!

Don't you think that importing old custom profiles has something to do with the drivers not working as they should do ?

In Nvinspector there are ANSEL specific flags...maybe your old profiles had those flags disabled.

Has anyone given these drivers a go in Battlefield 1? I'm curious if it resolves the DX12 issues

R375, lol i still remember R275 when I got 570gtx xD was a boost driver back then, shame they dont do such radical changes anymore, would like another turbo api boost Installing now 🤓

LOL...just tried: iif you disable it the NVcontrol panel disappear from right click menu XD :banana: They have surely done some changes to NVcontrol panel itself and integrated in this "container" service EDIT: Also disabling nvxdsync.exe (User experience driver component) the NVcontrol panel disappear.
so a big change in driver functionality then. interesting 🙂 I wonder if the unzip method of the manual driver installation still works.

Aw man, I just got around to installing the previous set yesterday... oh well, off to download. DDU should have an installation module too. Plug in the driver set you want and run DDU for automatic uninstallation/installlation. Wagnard? ;)

This driver killed half of my RAM, overclocked my CPU beyond stable, made my games run at max 30 fps, deleted system32 file and downloaded pr0n on my PC. No issues here. Loved they removed that terrible bloatware GFE from the driver package and killed that icon on the system tray. Things that are not driver will never belong in the same package with drivers. Hope it stays this way from now on.

worst driver used on mine gtx 1080 so far... lost 3 fps in avg on assetto corsa... my minimal fps on f1 2016 goes to 73fps now and before with 373.06 are 94fps... lost 4 fps avg in rise of tomb raider... only with the same result on dirt rally

The desktop flickering is back(1440P/144Hz)..
Do you still have G-sync issues? I'm at work so I cannot try them out.

I can confirm the frames are better in BF1 with there. Just feels smoother. Going to test dx12 now. EDIT Nope, dx12 still a no go for me.

I think its still there, so dont bother this driver. I has to do something with the windows 10 anniversary update, but nvidia nor microsoft is willing to fix this.

I can't test SW2 anymore since i finished the game and i uninstalled it. But if i'm at desktop with absolutely nothing running in the backround, i get flickering. But only then, if i have at least one Chrome window open, there is no flickering. Weird.

Since w10 AU I always get freezes in games for like 500ms. frame time spikes fps and clocks drop then goes back to normal. Always random but been there for ~ 3 months since I had AU. Only thing I haven't tried is a clean reinstall of win10 with AU. Will try these when I get home

Have you update the firmware of your graphic card ? There is a update for that issue on EVGA site.
