I noticed BAR status is listed under info in NVCP - Unfortunately it doesn't look like Asus are going to update z370 boards 🙁

Well spotted, I wonder has this reporting feature been there all along or is this something newly added to this driver branch, waiting for the VBIOS to be in place?

Still no fixes for the high DPC Latency in both the 461.06 and 461.33
Also no fixes for Chrome and Office Stutters. Again so much Stutter-lag in Google Chrome, Office and some other desktop applications. minimizing, maximizing and moving these applications produce too many lags and stutters. everything was fine with 460.97 and before revisions.

I am just running it past you guys. Why would resizable BAR be even required when 'above 4G decoding' makes the entire GPU memory addressable today? It has been a thing on Linux since Vega64 and Z97 motherboards, that support 'Above 4G Decoding'. Resizable BAR to what I understand only adds the resizable part to it. If I can address the entire GPU memory why is resizable part stopping us from using the entire GPU memory on windows? Maybe someone smarter than me can help me understand this.

announcement is 404 for me (germany). Also, where is nvidia reflex for r6? pleeeeeeeease.
But why you need reflex? There are better ways. Put the game in max performance level in NVCP. Limit the FPS to your monitorwith + or - 2/3 fps Enjoy lower input lag. Check BattlNonSense video for more info about this. Reflex is not that great like Nvidia tries to sell people.

nvidia does not even list the performance increase with new drivers that are supposed to be optimized for new games... All new AMD optimized drivers give clear numbers of performance gains and are usually true... and this happens for years now. They each have their issues, but at this aspect (optimizations) I feel AMD is more transparent.
100% agree, aside the fact that NVIDIA control panel ( NVCPL ) is from the stone age, and it is too hard to find the options you want to change, their engines are such as bad, not to mention it is bugy. Changing the resolution using NVIDIA control panel ( NVCPL ) will cause all my monitors to blink, doing it using Windows setting is normal and immediately with no blinking . NVIDIA engineers are copying plugins and add-ons to cards are not supported even though some users like me is repeating. I remember my 15 years old AMD control panel was so stylish, their container uses the GPU (dah) and it was so easy to find and change things on it

Looks to me that Nvidia developers are just doing a total shite job in the past years. Performance improvements on driver level are non existant anymore and issues and bugs are plenty taking forever to be fixed (IF). For the money we pay for those cards it's a lame job, no credit to them whatsoever from me.
its not like you're paying for support 🙄

4G Decoding doesn't allow the BAR to dynamically change to the graphics cards framebuffer size.

It's not and never has, BAR is limited to 256MB chunk transfers without resize support.

irrelevant complaints that only matter to eyecandy fanboys and some that aren't even legitimate, only people who can't find things in the nvcp are people who couldn't find a police officer in a station.

Sluggish, trash, unintuitive and almost unworkable are words i attribute to the catalyst control panel

I am not sure if you are NVIDIA employee or just a big fan, in both cases this shows me why NVIDIA will not develope ever. IF you think this [youtube=sPJeGidV3bI] is trash, I have a word for you, NVIDIA control panel is a thousand time worse. How about don't stoop to this level and left up the conversation to a civil level. Will NVIDIA ever stop copying unsupported plugins? Why NVIDIA container doesn't use the GPU to process the driver tasks like AMD does? Changing resolution will cause the container to use 100% of a core of my CPU, if NVIDIA container uses the GPU acceleration it will help it speed up a little bit. I really hope you are not an employee and just a big fan.

Hello. Will have nvidia 1080 ti resizable bar or only the 3000 series? :/
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/44/44619.jpg
I'm skeptical with these.. So far on my 1080ti SLI, the 460's have been terrible. Games freezing up for 5-10 seconds randomly, Killing me in Rocket League, COD etc.. Went back to 457.51 and have not had a single lock up or freeze. I know the 1080's are outdated, but my 3090 is no where to be found til 2034, so its all i got right now.

Honestly this thing you posted looks like a phone user interface not an advanced PC GPU settings.

Crimson is not the AMD control panel from 15 years ago, which looked like https://windowsbulletin.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/AMD-Catalyst-Control-Center-Missing.jpg a dot net monstrosity. Crimson has other issues, such as wasting space with a shiny plastic interface, being able to completely break other utilities just by being started, intruding into every applications process space because of features that don'teven work properly..... lol.

I installed these drivers and the flickering in word, powerpoint etc when moving the window around the screen is still an issue on these drivers. HOWEVER, I have tried the registry edit suggested by Manuel in the nvidia forums here and it has fixed the issue! I do not know what MPOs are or the potential impact this will have in games, but since I use this computer for work as well this will do nicely. Edge seems to hiccup a little on scrolling on some websites, so it may not fix every issue but I'm just glad to be using excel again.

NVTOPPS does more than just enable the OC scanner, so no, it will not ever stop being copied.

AMD doesn't use the gpu for anything that passes through a helper service, OpenCL and CUDA C are very explicit in what they can do and what they are useful for.

Then how about stop loading the OC scanner check for the unsupported GPUs every time the Nvidia container will start? I can think of a thousand way to do it. BTW, I remember when I had AMD, their software used a lot of the GPU, even though it is not for the task, it will still speed up the process. When I was testing with mandelbrott sett, with and without GPU rendering, the CPU usage went from 100% to almost 5 %, but it made navigating through the app much faster without hanging

I really never understood the hate towards the nvcp. We all know the interface is old, so what? What will change operationally if/when it gets updated? You open it to mess with the settings for some hours, for a day or two, tops, close it and leave it alone for how long? As long as it serves for what it is supposed to do, display most driver settings and let you toggle them on and off, it's fine.
