Hi guys how are you ? I have a 3090 from EVGA but the EVGA Precision X1 software is a mess , does this new afterburner version support the 3 fans control from EVGA cards ? I know that this was an issue with older versions that’s why I had to use precision Thanks

It will NEVER support non-reference fan control solutions. NVIDIA reference design assumes up to two fan controllers only. It is up to EVGA to support their own custom iCX fan controllers in their software.

I never have overclocked my vid card ,i installed this afterburner version to try how it works ,i did some research how the overclocking works, I set the CoreClock on +100 and the Memoryclock on +1000 and run a few games the highest temp is 63 degrees Celsius for me acceptible, voltage unlocked. Gaming is smoother now. Thanks for this nice piece of software and think to stay using Afterburner.

I don't OC my GPU much either these days, but it's still nice to set a fan curve and it generally is a better app than a lot of other alternatives out there (case in point, @ wsarahan pointing out what a mess the EVGA app is 😀).

CVE-2019-16098, which is exploited by it, was rapidly fixed in September 2019 in a week after discovering it. I really wonder how many troll posters are here. Move on with your insulting posts. Probably now Hilbert and MSI can see why I absolutely prefer to post betas in development threads for limited user base, at least those who download it there read news related to application and can think. But each massively released version hosted in news results in the same things - it attracts some randowm "guru" who is posting some attacking nonsense and killing any wish to work for community.

It is not trustworthy. Nothing changed, nothing was fixed in 2019 to address this CVE. Do not use it please, leave it for users able to read and think. Closed. if Hilbert can finally remove my mod rights, I’ll be more than happy to stop dealing with aggressive idiots instead of development.
