Is there any way to include support of more than three AMD cards? As soon as I add a fourth card - afterburner doesn't show controls for any of them anymore. I tested this with different driver versions and on two different computers with different motherboards. GPUs are RX 470, RX 480, RX 570, RX 580, windows 10 64bit, motherboards are ASRock and ASUS.

That's been answered a few times already and it's highly unlikely it will ever support that many cards. It's just not aimed at miners.

EVGA 1300w Every time I my pc start I have autostart claymore mining and afterburner. as soon as my OC settings kick in everything is fine. then after 1-2 minutes afterburner get not responsive. the gpus still runs as per AB settings but theres no way I could interact with AB for any changes. its just not responding. I have try many things but the problem is still there. Anyone have a solution for this? AB 4.4.2 says its good for 64 bits but still install in x86 folder, any issue there? many thanks

Thanks for this but i seem to be having loads of problems with alot of programs refusing to install while afterburner is running i just get the basic blahblah.exe has stopped working but if i exit ab they then install fine and before you say it i've completely uninstalled the old version rebooted my pc then installed the new version. This only started to happen after i changed my pc i upgraded to a Ryzen 7 1700 OC@3800Ghz, Asus X370-F MB, Gigabyte GTX1070 G1 GPU and Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz memory (16GB). Before that i had an AMD 8350 CPU, GTX970 GPU, 16GB kingston memory and never had this trouble. anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Regarding the OSD, is it possible to change the unit of a data point? What I mean is, say I wanted Power to not show as % in OSD but instead as W? I ask because I'm using a formula correction to calculate wattage from the percentage. I want the OSD to show W next to the amount instead of %. With the Afterburner PerfCounter.dll plugin, you can change everything in a config file, is it possible for the internal Afterburner data points?

It might have been blocked, installer usually prompts if the file is in use so this looks more like the file was blocked by a third party software or by the OS itself. First thing I would try is to right click on the MSI Afterburner installer after it has been downloaded and click "unblock" to get Windows to not interfere via UAC or Defender or any other means since while blocked it's not trusted. 🙂 Second is to ensure Afterburner and RTSS are completely shut down first before installing the new version, exit the program and wait two to three minutes for it to fully unload, since it's being updated anyway I also check by trying to delete some of the files. (If they report as being in use by anything shut that program down since it's not freeing up the .dll or .sys files for whatever reason, for my own case that's mostly for Rivatuner though and not Afterburner.) You can also uninstall the program and then reboot to ensure it's all unloaded and cleaned up before installing the new version but the above .sys file appears to have gotten blocked since the in-use error prompt is a bit different and the installer will ask for a reboot in such cases and then handle the replacement on boot when the file is no longer in use.

I'm having a similar issue to you and others (perhaps 2 separate issues). 1. Afterburner will not overclock my memory, when I hit apply it goes back to default sometimes, other times it applies and keeps my setting in the GUI but the memory clock never actually changes. This is happening on both my MSI GTX 970 Gaming and my EVGA GTX 1060 3GB 2. Most of the time I load Afterburner the window never appears and my entire system becomes unresponsive until I end task on afterburner which uses about 14% of my cpu while this is happening. This is happening with an EVGA Geforce 1060 3GB Other specs: i7-2700k Asus P8Z77-V LE 16gb DDR3 700w Antec power supply Windows 10 x64 Pro

Make sure it is all closed and then check task manager to make sure all instances have stopped I had an issue on my machine where not all instances stopped right away I just stopped them via task manager and didn't have a problem again.

Unwinder has said many times he won't be adding support for any more gpu's than it already does. Miners aren't his focus and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

Hi, new angry noob forum member here 🙂. Using MSI on 3 computers... This all is just my opinion,I should have the right to share it,thank you. I have given 1 star rating(I should put 3 but I decided to ether like or dislike) Alright it is working big deal,it can change GPU settings... I am sure whoever made it can make it work way better because simpler things are needed to modify) 1.)Saving profiles,sometimes it works,sometimes not.... unlock,lock,click,save,save again,click on profile and setting back to normal,change again,saved again,back to normal setting,changed again,saved,clicked,wow it works ! 2.)Loading profiles: CAN MSI START AND LOAD OC PROFILE ON STARTUP ?? It has NEVER work for me on ANY computer! If it can why is there no options visible like load profile 3 on startup,check ... ? Load a certain profile when a game is lunched? to advanced? 3.)Voltages Why is there no memory voltage settings,is it automatic? 4.)Detach screen Maybe put min/max and everything else between graphs graphs to left and right (nothing goes between graphs) Graph line could be thicker + colors. Graph could be dragged/extended for longer history view. 5.FAN speed annoying squares 😀 How do i REMOVE the square ?? every time i click on the fan speed line a new one is born and i cannot remove it 🙁(

And I should have a right to offer you to use something else, it is working so bad for you. This all is just my opinion as well, but I assume that you can think about some common failure factor/reason between all those 3 PCs where AB is refusing to work, e.g. the same person configuring them. Agreed Unwinder! Ab works great for me on all my.....4 PC's. Thank you for that! I do have one issue tho. I looked in the settings but I can't find the "Call my drunk a@# an Uber driver". Other than that, AB it is! It Rocks! I almost want to buy A new Ryzen APU just to tinker with it using AB. If it's supported. Been reading up on the APU all day. For what it is it seems like a nice little chip worth the $$$

Ok i see I cannot argue with you guys 😉 but please can it just load the settings on startup? Convince me,show me and i will give 4 stars that will beat the shit out of that 1 star and adopt her! The whole problem is: MSI loads on startup,i need to click on profile 1 and check,how hard can it be to automate this if you already made the whole working program? I just want to keep the settings that can already be set. So far i have: -tried it on another real gaming pc and multiple cards R9 280X,R9 290,RX460,nVidia 1080... -tried setting a startupdelay 20000 ms in the config file but did not work. P.S. This program is better than EVGA or GPU TWEAK II (ok that one i uninstalled after 15 minutes because it did not work on my rx460,maybe because of the bios changes) Edit: Fuck me it works I used a .bat file to make it load profile 1/2/3 ... still don't know why this is not in the program More Edit: Alright,I see people of forums posting suggestions to use BIOS just because no MSI programs are working for them on startup! How hard is for a developer to make that changed if he is able to make a whole program ??
