The hotfix lists only ONE fix for the Prey stutter issue so I would wager that this driver is otherwise identical to the v382.05 WHQL in terms of performance for everything else and that none of the other issues have been addressed/fixed.

You wanted to say - " its quite nice that they actually bother to release a fix so fast ". While never fixing some Crucial driver issues persistent across several releases now. 🙂

it's hotfix, not real driver. hotfix = fix a fail or a missing in the actual driver (and so can be for a single game) 🙂

with the 382.05 i had bad FPS with Eurotruck Simulator 2 and stuttering now i try this one. Is it better i uninstall the old driver before with DDU or just overwrite ?

I wouldn't count on anything to have improved besides Prey. Remember, it's not a real new driver, it's a fix, a patch for the driver if you want to call it that way.

Probably my imagination but these drivers really seem smoother in other aspects ... NV control panel, switching web pages, etc.... I used DDU prior to installing. Possibly they squashed a lingering bug while resolving the Prey issue.
