It has the same problem when alone and if another is active. Any res placed in the 4K x 2K group uses the displays max refresh at 4K which is 60Hz. This was always the case but 1440p and 1080p didnt used to be in this group a long time back. Once out of the 4K x 2K group, a ton of resolutions allow 120Hz. Those in the 4K x 2K group dont allow it... at least, thats how it appears.

Nope. https://www.guru3d.com/content-page/contact-us.html What dates are giving you trouble, no matter the format should be easy to figure out. The site seems to use month/day/yr format, maybe that is connected to where the server is located, I have no idea about that.

The amount of times I thought an article was old because of this πŸ˜€. For example with this one, I thought it was from February, but the driver numbering was too recent so yeah... But yes, just to say I agree. Rest of the world date format would be best.

Well these drivers run RDR2 completely horribly!! @ManuelG Very bad stuttering constantly. Tried with Gsync On & Off.. Vsync On & Off. It stutters horribly in all modes. Inconsistent GPU utilization with it hovering between 70-94% normally with the FPS jumping up/down constantly. Now the weirdest part of this entire thing I wanted to submit something to the driver feedback team on the problem and tried to capture the stuttering happening using the gpuview tool, which is requested with the driver feedback. So with gpuview running and capturing the trace the stuttering just disappears! I noticed my GPU usage drops to around ~84% and lose some performance as well. But end the trace and the stuttering comes back! πŸ™ https://i.imgur.com/yy0WYED.png Frametimes are smooth while running gpuview trace: https://i.imgur.com/coQxtfk.png I can't recall which driver version I was using previously ~3 months ago but it ran flawlessly over the summer!!

The whole world should agree on a format, military style is clearest: 04 OCT 2020 Back on topic, I found this driver the same as the last, ~same avg frame rates but more stutter, much lower min / 1% lows. Sticking with 451.85 yet again.

which is more profitable 451.85 or 452.22?

If the trace makes it disappear, you've got a problem with your cpu shuffling threads far too often, or VRAM/PCIE is unstable and error correction is ocurring just a thought... but you have allowed for the fact the driver update invalidates the vulkan pipeline caches?

For me, 451.85 has been the best performer, and most stable. Almost all of the others caused "driver crashed and recovered" errors, but that was on my GTX 1060. I have a 1660 Super now so not sure. This new one just stutters a lot for me on the 1660 Super.

Well I decided to try an older driver from July the last time I was really playing this game and what do you know it's very smooth, no stutters at all! I should note I'm not using HAGS at all on either driver. Driver - 451.67 - Gsync On / Vsync On (Forced in the NV control panel) https://i.imgur.com/4th9rTS.png

change in behavior on an old driver is irrelevant to me, there are various causes and historical cases of certain software (and other IO drivers) conflicting with nvidia updates and you've removed several vulkan extensions from the system which might play a part in the issue when mixed with certain vulkan layers. Rather than GPU View, I recommend using Nsight

I'll give that a try when I'm home from work. Granted I'll have to reinstall the hotfix driver, but I'll be interested to see if Nsight is any different?

does that screen take up 2 outputs on the graphics card?

Do these hotfix drivers still mess up the nvidia control panel (reset everything to default) and lack support for features like HAGS? The laste couple hotfix drivers i installed, had that issues with it. That's why i stopped using hotfix ones. Appreciate the input from you guys.

HAGS is still there and per-program 3D settings are untouched.
